    Emmerdale Spoilers 31st July - 4th August 2017

    Monday

Lawrence decides that it's time to tell Chrissie the truth about who Tim really is, but he could be too late as Lachlan has other plans.

Just as Tim is heading over to see Chrissie, he's confronted by Lachlan and Gerry, who bundle him into a car boot and kidnap him. Tim tries to explain himself, but Lachlan threatens him.

Later on, Lachlan tells Lawrence that he doesn't have to worry about Tim anymore, but Lawrence panics when he hears Tim's phone ringing in Lachlan's pocket. What has Lachlan done?

Meanwhile, Laurel attempts to encourage Finn to open up about Emma and James. In the middle of their conversation, Emma unexpectedly arrives home from her prayer retreat and is worried about what Laurel is up to.

Elsewhere, Rebecca encourages Robert when he tells her that he plans to win Aaron back, but Adam warns him he's wasting his time. When Aaron returns to the village, Robert begs him to give him another chance, but Aaron says that it's too late.

    Tuesday

    Hour-long episode

Lawrence and Ronnie are moving to St Ives today. Lachlan promises Lawrence that everything is under control with Tim, but in fact he has him gagged and tied up in a nearby building.

When Lachlan and Gerry visit Tim and remove his gag, it gives him the opportunity to scream for help and alerts Chrissie and Lawrence to his predicament.

As Chrissie comes face-to-face with Tim, she finally hears the truth about who he is and why he's here. Ronnie and Chrissie are both stunned as Lawrence's dark secrets come to light, but can he find any way to make up for what he's done?

Meanwhile, Laurel confides in Bob about Emma, who overhears part of the conversation. Later, Laurel is nervous when Emma visits her. Will Emma find a way to turn the tables on Laurel?

Elsewhere, Lydia is delighted when Sam gets her another cleaning job and asks her on a date.

Also today, Adam is worried about Aaron's behaviour and wonders what's going on when he disappears to a "business meeting" with Zak. What is Aaron really up to?

    Wednesday

Chrissie is absent as Lawrence lies unconscious in hospital, with Lachlan and Rebecca at his bedside.

Later, Chrissie makes a major decision about her future.

Meanwhile, Laurel is feeling disturbed after the recent dramas with Emma.

Elsewhere, Robert is concerned to see that Aaron has a black eye. Robert tries to find out what's gone on, but Adam is protective of his best friend and tells him to stay away.

    Thursday (1)

When Laurel hears that Emma is out of town again and notices Finn has left his keys in the door of Dale View, she decides to break in to look for the card.

Meanwhile, Debbie is hurt after she reads an extract about herself in Sarah's diary.

Elsewhere, Robert is in a giving mood.

Also, Rebecca is out of her depth as she tries to manage the business alone. When a client called Bryant arrives enquiring if his event is still going ahead, she assures him it is.

    Thursday (2)

Emma receives a surprise visit from the police.

Meanwhile, Rebecca is fearful as she wonders whether Home Farm is being targeted.

Elsewhere, nosy Debbie confronts Sarah about her diary, but Sarah is furious over what she's done.

Also, Aaron makes it clear to Robert that he doesn't want his concern.

    Friday

Laurel and Emma's accusations continue. Who'll win the war between them?

Meanwhile, Rebecca realises the email is losing her business. She explains the situation to Robert, who feigns shock. She begs him to help her out and when he eventually agrees, she feels relieved.

Elsewhere, Pollard tries to impress Faith.

Meanwhile, Rhona Goskirk's troubles may not be over on Emmerdale as she tries to start rebuilding her life following Pierce's verdict.

Rhona (Zoe Henry) finally got justice this week as Pierce was found guilty of raping her at the end of a week-long trial.

Next week, Rhona is eager to get back to work so that her life can just be normal again, but she struggles with the overprotective attitude of her caring ex-husband Paddy Kirk.

Paddy is pleased when Rhona seems to be taking back control of her life once again, but when she looks into getting an annulment, she's furious by what she learns. Is there more bad news on the way for Rhona?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Monday, July 31 at 7pm on ITV.
