Neighbours finally reveals Mishti Sharma's secret next week after her sister Dipi Rebecchi overhears a suspicious conversation.

Mishti's past has been a mystery ever since she moved to Erinsborough in April, but we know that she shares an intriguing connection with her brother-in-law Shane.

Next week, we'll see Shane start to worry about Mishti (Scarlet Vas) when he discovers that she's had an impulsive one-night stand.

Shane is quick to confront Mishti when he hears the news, but Dipi (Sharon Johal) overhears every word and is disturbed to realise that something happened between her husband and her sister in the past.

Although Mishti is determined that Shane should protect her secret, Dipi corners her husband in private and orders him to explain himself right away.

While Dipi suspects a possible romantic connection between the two, Shane seems more concerned that Mishti's casual hook-up is the beginning of a descent into destructive behaviour.

Explaining why, Shane opens up to Dipi about a secret from Mishti's past that he's been keeping quiet for a while now. How will Dipi react as Mishti's history is revealed? And will Mishti see Shane's lack of discretion as a betrayal?

Neighbours kicks off a new pregnancy storyline next week – but the lady in question isn't who you might expect.

Viewers have recently seen Izzy Hoyland (Natalie Bassingthwaighte) return to Erinsborough on a mission to have another baby with Karl Kennedy – but another character is also about to brace herself for the patter of tiny feet.

Next week's episodes see Izzy come clean with Karl about how she's stolen a sample of his sperm from the hospital and tried to impregnate herself.

Izzy's outrageous revelation leaves Karl fearing for the future of his marriage, but things only get worse when Susan's niece Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) finds a pregnancy test.

Elly's discovery comes just after Erinsborough's residents have gathered for Susan's birthday party, during which there's a mix-up involving bags.

When Elly stumbles across the positive pregnancy test because of the bag mishap, she fears that it belongs to Izzy and shares her suspicions.

The horrified Kennedys go straight to Izzy for answers, and she reluctantly admits that the test doesn't belong to her. However, Izzy also reminds them that there's still a chance her self-insemination worked, leaving them on tenterhooks.

It's only later that the full truth comes to light, as Mishti Sharma (Scarlet Vas) confides in Leo Tanaka about how she's expecting his baby.

Mishti and Leo (Tim Kano) both have misgivings about the big news, unsure whether they're ready for a child at this early stage in their relationship.

The couple decide not to tell anyone for the time being, but the situation is taken out of their hands as Mishti's niece Kirsha is in earshot and her hearing has finally started to return.

When Kirsha lets Mishti's news slip to the Rebecchi family, it's not long before everyone is weighing in with their thoughts and advice. But do Mishti and Leo really want this baby?
