Monday
It's Patrick's birthday, but he insists on a quiet day as he doesn't want Denise to waste her money on him after her recent troubles. Soon afterwards, Yolande returns to the Square to visit Derek and gives him some worrying news, before also paying a visit to Patrick.
Later on, Dot gets ready to celebrate Patrick's birthday but there's a nasty accident when she trips over Dave and falls to the ground.
Meanwhile, Mick organises a surprise 40th birthday party for Linda.
Elsewhere, Carmel announces that there'll be a new part-time market enforcement officer but everyone gets a shock when it's a familiar face – Robbie Jackson.
Tuesday
Dot is unable to help herself as she struggles to move after her fall. Even when Patrick comes to visit her, he fails to hear her shouting and goes away again.
Later, it's someone unexpected who finds Dot when Sonia returns and is horrified by the state she's in.
Meanwhile, Derek is still upset following his visit from Yolande and things get worse when he clashes with Keegan again. Later on, Derek confronts Johnny for witnessing his argument with Keegan and failing to step in.
Elsewhere, Donna isn't impressed when Robbie leads a training day for the market workers.
Also today, Shirley has a present idea for Linda's birthday.
Elsewhere, Johnny tries to make amends with Derek and gets him to open up with the full story behind recent events.
Also today, preparations for Linda's return might be about to suffer another setback.
Thursday
As Dot is taken away in an ambulance, Sonia is on the warpath and claims that the local residents haven't been looking out for her.
Later on, news reaches the Square that Dot will now need an operation to fix her hip.
Meanwhile, Sonia wants Bex to move in with her, but Robbie reminds Sonia that Bex has her own mind.
Friday
It's the day of Linda's return for her surprise birthday party and Mick remains anxious about the possibility of something going wrong.
Could an unexpected appearance from Fi threaten Mick's plans to give Linda a happy homecoming?
Meanwhile, Johnny encourages Patrick to help stop Derek from leaving Walford. Will they manage it?
Elsewhere, Bex is torn when she realises that Sonia wants her to move in with her and Robbie.
