Lauren Branning could be badly betrayed by her younger sister Abi on EastEnders next week.

Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) recently confided in Abi after having an abortion in secret, but her honesty could be a decision she lives to regret if her sibling's devious side re-emerges.

Next week's episodes see Abi (Lorna Fitzgerald) left feeling like she's constantly living in the shadow of her "perfect" sister, but she knows that she has exactly the ammunition she needs to shatter that illusion.

When Abi sees that Steven (Aaron Sidwell) is also questioning Lauren's loyalty, she sees this as an obvious opportunity she can exploit, even though Lauren has already begged her not to tell him about the abortion.

Will Abi go against her sister's wishes by exposing the truth regardless?

Monday

Abi is growing increasingly resentful over Lauren's close relationship with Max. The final straw comes when Jack and Lauren both work together to give Max a surprise, prompting Abi to storm off as it scuppers her plans for Father's Day.

Later, Abi gets her revenge by telling Steven about Lauren's secret abortion.

Meanwhile, Ian struggles to celebrate Father's Day, despite Steven attempting to make a kind gesture by presenting him with a canvas portrait of them both. Steven is left feeling rejected following Ian's behaviour – while some mistaken assumptions from Ted make matters worse.

Elsewhere, Sharon tries to find out what really happened with Louise.

Also today, Lily finds out about Stacey's pregnancy and accidentally lets the news slip.

Finally, Ted and Joyce's daughter Judith cancels plans to pay a visit, while Denise shows her appreciation for Patrick on Father's Day.


Tuesday

Steven is shocked now that he knows the truth about Lauren's abortion, while Abi nervously wonders what he'll do next. Have Abi's plans backfired when Steven later shares some harsh home truths with her?

Later on, Steven is livid to spot Lauren and Josh together, so he takes action by giving Josh a firm warning.

Meanwhile, Sharon confronts Keegan to get to the bottom of the recent drama surrounding Louise once and for all.

Elsewhere, Jane threatens to kick Kathy out if she continues to sabotage Ian's new healthy lifestyle.

Also today, Ian has a heart-to-heart with Steven.


Thursday

Abi tries to apologise to Steven, but he's clearly in no mood for her as he puts her in her place.

Meanwhile, Keegan threatens to call the police following another tense incident with Denise at the park. Later on, Kush is delighted when Denise leaves a birthday present for him, but will his special day be ruined when the police want to talk to him?

Elsewhere, Billy is given a pep talk from Pam when the grand unveiling of the rebranded funeral parlour business doesn't go according to plan.

Also today, Michelle and Tom agree to go on a date.

Finally, Ian urges Kathy to support his new healthy lifestyle, while Jack offers a trial to a new nanny.

Friday

Abi's 21st birthday has arrived, but the tension surrounding recent events means that the day doesn't go the way Abi had planned.

Meanwhile, Kush has to deal with the consequences of recent events, while the police also visit Keegan about the incident.

Sharon Mitchell will get a shock on EastEnders next week as she becomes determined to find out what really happened between Louise Mitchell and Keegan Baker.

Louise's life has been turned upside down in recent episodes, after Keegan told everyone that he slept with her at Madison's party on the night her drink was spiked.

Sharon urged her stepdaughter to go to the police after Louise confided in her during Friday's visit to Walford, but things are set to get even more complicated now that Keegan is denying his initial claims.

Keegan is now claiming that he made the entire thing up in a bid to ruin Louise's relationship with Travis Law-Hughes, prompting Sharon to take it upon herself to get answers.

With Louise still distraught, Sharon will head over to the Taylors' to confront Keegan herself – determined to get to the bottom of what really went on at Madison's party.

However, as the situation becomes heated, Sharon learns some surprising information which could put Keegan's allegations into question. What will this mean for Louise?
