TV Week has the following Neighbours plot teaser for the week 5th - 9th June:

Sonya's Agony. Can Toadie Help His Wife Before She Hits Rock Bottom?

Sick of seeing his estranged wife spiralling out of control, Toadie makes a last, desperate attempt to save Sonya in Neighbours this week.

At his wits' end, Toadie hatches a risky plan to bring Sonya (Eve Morey) back home.

Life has been more than a little unfair to Sonya of late. A devastating miscarriage, her relapse into alcoholism, the loss of her job and the disintergration of her marriage proved more than she could handle.

"Sonya is at the lowest we've seen her," Eve, 33, tells TV WEEK. "She's struggling to hold herself together."

Now, filled with despair, Sonya has disappeared, leaving Ramsay Street - perhaps forever.

But Toadie manages to track her down. He's horrified by what he finds. Sonya has shacked up with an old drinking buddy, Darren (David Beamish), in a dingy caravan park.

"She's hiding out in this terrible campground," Eve explains. "In Sonya's head, she thinks she's not worthy of her life back in Erinsborough. She's filled with deep self-loathing. She doesn't believe she deserves happiness."

Toadie tries to convince Sonya to return with him, saying their young daughter, Nell, really needs her.

"For a mother to be able to walk away from her child - that shows she's in a pretty bad place," Eve says.

Faced with the reality Sonya may never recover, and running out of time, Toadie reaches for the phone. He knows one person who might be able to help.

Days later, Sonya receives a surprise visitor - her son, Callum (Morgan Baker).

It's a bittersweet moment. While thrilled, Sonya is devastated Callum is seeing his mum at such a low point.

"In a way, he's the only one who can talk some sense into her," Eve says.

"Callum is insightful and says everything with love. But he makes sure she realises the effect all of this is having on her daughter."

Will Sonya listen to Callum? Or is it already too late?
