Exciting news, Coronation Street fans – ITV has confirmed the scheduling details for one of the biggest weeks in the Corrie calendar.

Every year, the show switches to a 9pm timeslot for the week of the Britain's Got Talent live shows and 2017 will be no exception, with another set of action-packed episodes planned later this month.

This year's special week airs between Monday, May 29 and Friday, June 2 – with one episode of Corrie airing every night at 9pm.

The show will be sandwiched in between the Britain's Got Talent live performance and results shows, guaranteeing a ratings-grabbing week for ITV.

As always, it's not just the timeslot changing, as Corrie will be ramping up the drama for the big week too.

While you'll have to wait until next week for the full spoilers, viewers can look forward to some huge episodes for the Barlows as the 'Who Pushed Ken?' storyline finally comes to a head.

Fans can also expect some shocking new developments in Bethany Platt's dark grooming storyline, as well as drama for Nick Tilsley as the current situation with Leanne, Steve and Peter intensifies.

2016's big week saw Callum Logan's body uncovered and Carla Connor leave the cobbles after a disastrous wedding day with Nick, so fingers crossed this year's episodes will be just as exciting.
