Brody manages to trick his way out of a jam but at what cost? Zac lies to Hunter about his plans to leave the Bay. Marilyn and John paper over the cracks in their relationship.


Wednesday

Will Hunter’s decision ruin his relationship with Zac? Marilyn’s plan to reunite Leah and Irene fails badly. Things heat up between Leah and Zac.


Thursday

Nate and Tori’s feud reaches a crescendo, but they ultimately make up. Roo deals with the fallout from being legally served by James’ parents. Kat’s identification of the vandal perp rattles a family.

Desperate Measures. Brody's addiction takes a dark turn.

Brody's drug-fuelled behaviour hits rock bottom this week when a mysterious woman attacks him after he hijacks her car. Will she turn him over to the police?

In this week's Home and Away, Raffy (Olivia Deeble) isn't convinced he brother Brody (Jackson Heywood) has kicked his habit.

Despite the drug test coming back negative, she can tell something is up. Hoping to force him to rethink his choices, Raffy hides his bank cards. But it only makes matters worse.

When the Morgan family are out, Brody heads home to search for his cards. He's desperate for a fix.

When he can't find them, he settles on Raffy's sparrow necklace. He knows it's wrong, but he needs quick money.

"He hesitates - he's about to steal from his little sister," Jackson, 28, says. "But he's desperate to make some money."

Later, Brody arrives at a pawn shop hoping to sell the necklace. The owner offers him just $10 - no more, no less.

As his frustration grows, Brody quickly descends into a full-blown meltdown.

He takes a baseball bat & begins smashing up the shop. He warns the owner he won't stop until he gets what he feels he's owed.

"Brody is unhinged and in a rage," Jackson says. "He's making bad decision after bad decision."

Suddenly, sirens blare. Brody bolts down the road and flags down a car. As the driver slows, he jumps in & yells at her to drive.

Eventually, the woman stops the car & refuses to go any further. Thinking he wants money, she gives Brody her handbag.

The next day, a sober Brody is wallowing in self-pity. Mason arrives home & asks him about the handbag.

Brody suddenly remembers - the shop, the car, the woman. What has he done?

He quickly claims someone left the handbag at the restaurant. Together, they examine the contents & find a driver's licence. It belongs to a Scarlett Snow. Brody wonders if he can convince her to keep quiet...

"The side affects [of drug withdrawal] include agitation & paranoia, so he's concerned Scarlett is going to expose his secret," Jackson explains.

Brody arrives at Scarlett's (Tania Nolan) home to return the bag. But when no-one answers the door, he decides to let himself in. Bam! Scarlett cracks him over the head with a vase.

When Brody comes to, he's tied-up with Scarlett standing over him.

Will she call the cops?

Healed with a kiss? Leah and Zac share an unexpected moment.

Their marriage looks almost certainly over, but will a steamy lip-lock between Leah and Zac reignite the flame?

This week, Marilyn invites Leah (Ada Nicodemou) and Irene to lunch at the Diner to try to smooth things over with the pair.

However, neither know the other was invited & all hell breaks loose.

A fuming Leah tells Marilyn to work on her own problems. Irene refuses to back down from her actions, and Roo fails to placate Leah when she storms out. Oh, boy!

"Leah is under so much stress and pressure," Ada, 39, says. "She's acting out of character and feels as if no-one has her back."

Meanwhile, Zac is stunned that Hunter is questioning his paternity.

Fans will recall the youngster was alarmed when his date of birth didn't match Zac's story.

Without talking to Zac first, Hunter sent out for a DNA test. Is Zac losing another person he cares for?

Later, Leah arrives home to find Zac packing his things. They amicably put aside their differences & rehash their horrible days.

As Zac goes to leave, she grabs him & pulls him in for a kiss. She wants him to stay the night.

Perhaps it's not over after all...

Patrick struggles with his PTSD. After accidently hitting Ava with his car, Patrick feels worse than ever.

With support from Ash, he reveals the traumatic event that led to his problems.

That night, Patrick packs his things and leaves a note for his brother.

Ash must scramble to find Patrick before it's too late.
