    Neighbours new opening titles

Neighbours will unveil another set of new opening titles later this month as the show's latest family arrives.

Producers recently announced that Toadie Rebecchi's older brother Shane will be returning to Ramsay Street as a regular character, joined by four of his family members.

Nowhere Boys and House Husbands star Nicholas Coghlan has been cast as Shane, who's heading to Erinsborough with his wife Dipi, their two daughters Yashvi and Kirsha, and his sister-in-law Mishti.

Fans can expect to see the new arrivals added into the Neighbours opening sequence in the week commencing Monday, April 24.

Shane and Mishti actually make their first appearances next week, but the titles aren't changed until the following week when the rest of the family arrives. As Mishti has been grouped with the Tanakas, could there be a spark between her and Leo?

With a batch of exciting newcomers being added, Neighbours has also taken the opportunity to update the shots for the rest of the cast too.

Although the style of the credits stays the same, almost every cast member has been re-filmed for the sequence – with only Jack and Paige's joint shot staying the same.

The current sequence was introduced in January for the launch of the 2017 season.

Neighbours' executive producer Jason Herbison told Digital Spy: "This year's opening titles are designed to immediately reflect changes in the cast, work places and living situations. We have a new family coming in and the titles will update as soon as all five are on screen. It's fantastic to have a concept that allows us to do this without delay."

Neighbours fans can now watch the soap's brand new opening credits in full – before they hit our screens on the show itself.

Earlier this week, we reported that the titles are getting another overhaul and brought you some first-look pictures showing all of the new shots.

The updated sequence doesn't air until the week commencing Monday, April 24 – but Neighbours has now released this new video showing the changes in full.

Neighbours' new titles include Shane Rebecchi and his family for the first time, following the big news that they're becoming Ramsay Street regulars.

Shane is Toadie's older brother, who was last seen on screen in 1995. He'll be arriving in Erinsborough with his wife Dipi, their daughters Yashvi and Kirsha, and Dipi's sister Mishti.

Neighbours has also taken the opportunity to spruce up most of the other shots too, although the changes aren't too drastic – Sonya and Toadie are still together, while the Brennan brothers still have an aversion to clothes!

Shane's return scenes air next week when he's sent to Ramsay Street by his mum Angie, who wants to check how Toadie's doing following his split from Sonya.

Although everyone thinks Shane's return will only be brief, it's later revealed that the new Rebecchis are taking over Harold's Cafe following Lauren Turner's recent departure – giving the whole family a reason to move to the area.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
