oo-er. So is the new reality jail time for John?
To be fair it`s the only possible outcome, that even Morag couldn`t get John a not guilty verdict. I know John had a brain tumor and didn`t know what he was doing, but peoples lives have been ruined forever. I`m sure there are some Summer Bay residents who didn`t believe the brain tumor theory, and I can`t blame them for that.

It will be good to see Morag back again. I just wish she came to visit the Bay just to visit family and friends - and not as a lawyer. LOL. And I would love Morag to come back permanently. I know Cornelia Francis would love it. It`s a win/win as far as I`m concerned.

PantherBoy or anyone......do you when Roo is coming back please? I miss her a lot.

TV Week also has the following plot teasers:

How Do You Plead? John Faces His Fate As The Trial Begins.

Fans will be overcome with emotion this week in Home and Away when John's last-ditch effort to avoid jail takes a startling turn. Will he be found guilty?

As the day of the trial arrives, John (Shane Withington) and Marilyn (Emily Symons) try to remain positive.

With Morag behind the bench, they've got the best lawyer on the case.

"John's pleased he has some sort of hope here with a good barrister behind him," Shane says. "He doesn't want to plead guilty because he doesn't want to say he is insane when he's not."

Morag, however, is anxious as she steps into court.

As the trial begins, Dr Bernice Chung (Karen Pang) testifies that John fits the profile of a serial arsonist. She claims he remains a serious threat to Summer Bay.

Meanwhile, Nate puts his reputation on the line by defending John's actions. As a respected surgeon, it seems Nate has saved the day. But his recent firing from the hospital leads Morag to think his words will mean little to the jury.

"Morag isn't confident about the case," Shane, 58, says. "They still have a lot of work to do."

Eventually, John is called to the stand. Marilyn is on a knife-edge as she watches her husband answer the prosecutor's probing questions. Will he manage to keep his composure?

When the slick lawyer starts a stronger line of questioning, John becomes flustered. Whatever he says seems to come out wrong.

Suddenly, he yells in frustration - he's not a bad man! Unfortunately, his outburst is enough to make the jury think twice about his innocence.

"It doesn't go very well for John," Shane hints.

Morag tries to defuse the situation, but all signs point to jail for John.

Out of sheer desperation, Morag calls her next character witness, VJ (Matt Little). John is stunned. It's a bold move, but will it pay off?

Fans will recall VJ visited John in the hospital to offer his support. However, fighting with Zac & the prospect of losing custody of baby Luc has sent VJ into a spiral.

"He comes to the court to back John," Shane explains. "But you don't know whether he's going to turn on him at the last minute."

Will VJ send John to jail?

Doing It For The Kid. Irene Applies For Custody Of Luc.

The battle for baby Luc heats up this week when both Ash and Irene apply for custody.

Home and Away fans will recall VJ's recent angry outburst at the infant forced Ash to call DOCS.

After meeting with Morag to discuss the mediation, Leah tells Irene that VJ's chances of keeping the baby are slim. The odds are all in Ash's favour.

The thought of never seeing Luc again is too much for Irene. Without thinking, she tells her bestie that she's applying for custody too. It's the only way to stop Ash. Leah is fuming as she yells at Irene for betraying her.

This is bound to get messy!

    Roo And Her Toy Boy.

It's been a while since Roo (Georgie Parker) has fished for a fella, but it looks like she's caught a good one. Ex-Wonderland star Tim Ross is on the scene as her younger lover, James. Here's what we know: He's handsome, mysterious and he has a keen eye for photography. Sounds top notch to us, but will they last?

Red-Hot Roo. Is it Lasting Love for James and Roo?

After hiding her romance with James for weeks, Roo finally agrees to step out in public with her much younger man.

But the couple's lunch date at Salt turns serious when James suggests they be exclusive. It's a shock for Roo.

"Roo doesn't want to put a label on it," Tim, 32, explains. "She doesn't see herself spending her life with someone who's 20 years younger. Roo sees this as a fling."

Despite her strong feelings for James, Roo is scared of getting hurt. She asks for more time. It's a tough blow for James, who doesn't want to wait around.

Will Roo throw away her chance at true love?
