TV Week has the following items for Neighbours for the week 10th - 14th April:

    Talking Point:

    Is Jason Donovan Coming Back?

First, Madeleine West returned to Ramsay Street as 'Dee'. Now, Jason Donovan could be the latest former Neighbours star to rejoin the cast. Last week, Jason's character, Scott Robinson, was touted as the possible father of twins Leo and David. Fans, this could be especially for you!

    Plot Teaser:

Drowning Her Sorrows. A Heartbroken Sonya Reverts To A Bad Habit

As she starts to unravel in Neighbours this week, Sonya falls off the wagon and into Mark's arms.

It's been a testing time for Sonya (Eve Morey) & Toadie (Ryan Moloney) lately. Dee's return has dented their bond & possibly caused their marriage to fail.

But despite their troubles, Toadie is refusing to give up. Sonya, however, is having none of it.

"She has told Toadie their marriage is over," Eve, 33, reveals to TV WEEK.

To make matters worse, Sonya & Mark are edging closer to a decision they will regret.

"She's looking for a shoulder to cry on - and Mark is always there for her," Eve explains.

Things go from bad to worse this week when a single, emotion-charged moment leads to a big mistake that sees Sonya cross the line.

"Mark kisses Sonya," Eve says. "She pulls back... but then she kisses him. And in that moment, she knows what she is doing is wrong.

"She's been close to Mark for a while. She just wants to indulge that moment, escape the grief of her marriage & throw caution to the wind."

It's hardly surprising, then, that all this stress sends Sonya back to the bottle. The former alcoholic finds solace in a sneaky sauvignon blanc.

"The kiss with Mark & the isolation from her support networks drives her to drink," Eve says. "Sonya is an addict. She's battled the bottle in the past, but she's been sober for seven years now."

Booze and a broken heart are a dangerous combination. Is poor Sonya on a downward spiral once more?

Digital Spy article on Sonya's drinking:

Neighbours reveals TWO huge mistakes from Sonya Rebecchi in these shock new pictures

The aftermath of Toadie's cheating is only just beginning.

    http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neig...huge-mistakes/

Sonya Rebecchi's life spirals completely out of control in heartbreaking Neighbours scenes next week.

Show bosses are lining up a huge downward spiral for Sonya (Eve Morey), which begins when she succumbs to temptation by downing wine during a moment of weakness.

Next week's episodes reveal that Sonya is struggling to sleep properly, as she can't switch off after losing the baby she was carrying for Mark Brennan and splitting from her husband Toadie.

With nothing else working, Sonya is pleased when Mark offers to lie next to her in bed until she drifts off – knowing that his presence will be a calming influence on her.

What Sonya doesn't realise when she accepts the offer is that Mark is secretly harbouring growing feelings for her, and the inevitable happens as they end up kissing when they're in bed together.

Things don't go any further as both know that it's a huge mistake and terrible timing. The situation also makes life ten times worse for Sonya, as she now has yet another thing to worry about.

At the end of her tether and still sleep-deprived, Sonya takes her frustrations out on Steph Scully by rejecting her offers of help and angrily ordering her to move out of Number 30.

Once she's on her own, Sonya also pulls out some bottles of wine that were left over after Caitlin's memorial and starts to drink – which is sure to be another awful mistake given her sad history of addiction.

When Sonya wakes up the next morning, she has a terrible hangover and no recollection of what she may have done the previous evening, but will she confide in anyone about her sad relapse?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, April 10 and Tuesday, April 11 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.

Neighbours star Eve Morey discusses Sonya's big downward spiral as she turns back to alcohol

    "It's incredibly sad."

Neighbours star Eve Morey has discussed Sonya Rebecchi's alcohol relapse, admitting it is "incredibly sad" but not wholly surprising.

Show bosses are lining up a huge downward spiral for Sonya, which begins when she succumbs to temptation by swigging wine during a moment of weakness.

Viewers know that a grief-stricken Sonya is struggling to cope after after losing the baby she was carrying for Mark Brennan and splitting from her husband Toadie.

However, a whole new problem will begin when Sonya turns back alcohol in a bid to numb her pain – a terrible mistake given her history of addiction.

"It's incredibly sad, but it makes sense that Sonya has gone back to the bottle," Eva told Inside Soap.

"When I've talked to the writers in the past about what could possibly make Sonya go down this road again, I said it would either be the loss of a child or the breakdown of her marriage – so they gave her both! This is the lowest we've ever seen Sonya.

"All of a sudden, Sonya is feeling very isolated and alone. Not only is she mourning the loss of her child and her husband, but she believes the kiss with Mark has ruined her friendships with both him and his ex-fiancée Steph. She's at breaking point, so just decides to start drinking again."

There are certainly some very dark times ahead for Sonya if she continues to head down this path, but will she put a stop to her worrying relapse before it becomes a problem again?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, April 10 and Tuesday, April 11 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.

Neighbours spoilers: Toadie gets desperate as Mark admits he could be developing feelings for Sonya

Just as we thought things were looking pretty grim for poor Toadie, the whole situation with Sonya is about to get next level worse in Neighbours.

First of all, Mark admits to Tyler he’s been super confused about his feelings for Sonya, which have grown stronger ever since she called it quits with Toadie, and he ended things with Steph.

Tyler points out to his brother that Sonya is his BFF, leaving Mark to wonder if he really wants to step out of the friendzone and ruin what they already have?

Meanwhile, Sonya’s nemesis Clive is out of jail and wants to stir up trouble in Erinsborough. Steph tells Toadie that Sonya is still not up for heading back to work and he thinks it’s something to do with Clive.

Even though Sonya is pretty upset at him, Toadie desperately wants to set things straight to protect her – he definitely doesn’t want to see another brick thrown through their living room window!

However, a nasty turn of events sees him set up by the newspaper editor Tim – you’ll have to tune in to see what happens, but basically it makes Sonya want to see even less of Toadie.

Steph tries her best to defend Toadie but Sonya is tired of being let down by him and tired of all the excuses – she more or less tells him to stay out of her life.

We know Toadie isn’t going to walk away that easy – he knows he messed up with Fake Dee and he doesn’t want to lose Sonya too.

To make sure the house is safe, Toadie sneaks in to fix a broken window but freezes when he sees Sonya walking up the driveway – who in turn fears it’s actually an intruder.

She calls up Mark who stops by to scope out the house but Toadie has got out of there quick smart, covering his tracks – will she find out he’s broken her trust yet again?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday April 10th at 1:45pm and 5:45pm.
