Why would Shona close the door of the factory room behind her to be in total darkness again when she was looking for Max?

Well it was dark, so if Max was in a position to leave, he would open the door and let light in, therefore Shona would know where he was.

I would love to know how Flora manages to FaceTime (an Apple service) on a (Microsoft) Windows laptop!

What happened to Skype? Could they have refused product placement, or just bad writing?

I thought that. An Apple computer in in old people's home for their personal use. No Windows for them.

She heard him move around so she would have heard him run towards the door or even see him .. but then in all films really people are scared that somebody is in their homes yet never put any lights on

So the nurse tells Daniel that Flora had a birthday 2 weeks ago and that Harvey would not be calling .. yet once Phelan is there, Harvey calls his mum to wish her a happy birthday...

I think you've missed the point there.

Phelan got to the nurse, claiming to be Flora's relative and told the nurse Daniel was a trouble-making reporter. Hence the nurse fobbed Daniel off with the story about the wrong birthday.

It's just as well for Todd and Adam that they are being investigated by the hopeless Corrie Keystone Cops. Would not the first thing they should do be to go round all the other shops, businesses (and two churches) in the area to find out if Todd really did drop his card off everywhere?

I cannot work out why Phelan is keeping Andy hostage for months now ... and now wants a replacement??? I miss some episodes or parts of them so might have missed an explanation .. can anyone here advise please?
