I think the jammie dodgers was supposed to be a secret cabbie code , for the driver to suspend or delay the fare.

I know what you mean .. although it is fiction and not real it is difficult to remember that when you watch something and get so involved in the storyline

i find phelan nicola scenes also weirdly creepy, way too much chemistry and sexual tension
