So now we have Bethany agreeing to make-up Mary, to pretend she's married to Norris. Craig meanwhile has offered to take photos of Mary and Norris in different poses, to pretend they're married, to win a competition.
Could this be Craig's undoing if Neil the pedo finds out about it and dobs him in for aiding and abetting a fraud?
(That's ignoring Mary's marriage proposal to Norris later. The deed hasn't yet been done. Even if it goes ahead, they wouldn't have been married when Norris fraudulently entered them in the competition.)
Summer was talking to Todd about not having gone to 'finger painting', saying, "Why do you think I sacked it off?"
Did I hear that word correctly? I know skipping, sciving, wagging it, as terms for not going to school, but not "sacked"?
On a lighter note, for me it was a star-studded joke-athon night:
Mary (to Bethany): Mother used to say every time you lie an angel's wings catch fire.
I'd have thought fire was more to do with the group underground, not the one up in the clouds.
Tim talking about his dad wanting to name him Oliver, after his favourite actor.
Leanne: Oliver Reed?
Tim: No, Oliver Hardy.
Steve (looking at Tim): Yeah, I can see it now.
Norris (with Mary) ordering drinks in the Bistro: And if you could do it without either of us being stabbed, I'd be grateful.
Robert: I'll try and restrain myself.
Sinead (to Gemma): Look, I've only got an hour for my dinner and your mouth is taking up most of it.
Summer (about her grandmother): She's that strict, even the cat's afraid of her.
A little later Billy says he needs to let Summer's grandparents know where she is. Summer: No, don't do that. If they find out I've slipped off to see you, they'll have me exorcised.
Kirk: I always wondered what the employee discount was at a pound shop.
The people who mock me for watching Corro, can't understand when I say I watch it for the humour. They just don't know what they're missing.
