Why is Nicky working as a sex worker when she could be claiming benefits as a single parent? I am sure her mum would be willing to help with childcare from what I have seen of her so far.... So far I am not taking to this Pretty Woman storyline and while I can get Daniel wanting to replace Sinead I am not convinced it has to be with a prostitute?? I know Daniel works but the money Nicky is charging for an hour .. Daniel would not be able to afford her and certainly not after all this time ...

Perhaps benefits are not enough? Believe me I know, I've got long term and ever worsening health problems and I have to survive on ?74 a week after DLA was scrapped and replaced with PIP and I didn't get it despite having DLA for life. I spent the entirety of last week attempting to survive on ?4. I know child benefits will help her as well, but it all depends.

I do admit that this storyline seems to have dragged on. That probably is the crux of it, it's not the job, its the amount. Nicky says she's with an agency, so I ASSUME that the DWP know about her job, even if it is called Escort and explained away as something else, unless she is also claiming benefits in addition.

I am sorry to hear of your experience with benefits, how on earth does the government expect people to survive on that little bit of money ??

I hope that they do not make Nicky a permanent character and that maybe she will be involved in the storyline that will expose Geoff as the nasty liar he is but that she will be gone once he leaves ..

Unless he's got notes of the numbers of the bank notes, he can't out an out prove it I would imagine. It's ironic as well that he's coming all holier than thou when he's practically stealing money from the business which is part owned by Alya.

As to how is it possible to survive on that amount I mentioned, it isn't..

When he first noticed that the money was missing he said that he thought he had left it at the bank.

That certainly came out of the blue. - it was so long ago when Michael saw Grace in that car park I cannot remember if she said Tianna was his daughter or if Michael just jumped to that conclusion and she did not contradict him. - For once there was no leaks to the press about this story, or if there was I did not see any. Prefer it this way - Surprise is much better.
