I was hoping Michael and Grace would notice the atmosphere between them but they don't know either character very well and they have their own problems to work through.
It's not a coincidence that Geoff's a DJ and magician - both those jobs involve showmanship, being the centre of attention and everyone thinking he's wonderful. Even working as a waiter allows him to be charming and outgoing. I really want him to be caught talking down to Yameen in public and everyone turns on him but I doubt that will happen.
Geoff will get away with it as long as the Producers want him to.

Geoff is evil. That's why the Producers picked him for the job.

I don't normally agree with 'Coronation Streets' artistic/cinematic flourishes (i.e, zooms, sweeping shots, etc) but Geoff's rant at Yasmeen at the end of that magic trick (replete with 360 degree swoop) was quite effective....

How many doorhandles can fall of in soaps? - It's becoming a very tired old cliche?

There was me thinking Yasmeen had a mind of her own. When she found out Sharif was cheating with her best friend she wasted no time throwing him out. She must have had a personality transplant to become the doormat she is now portrayed as. Before she met Goeff she was an strong independent woman helping other people and organizing all sorts of things at the community centre. Even supposing she thinks she loves him, I find it completely out of character for her to put up with his behavior.

I was surprised Tim wasn't more angry when Geoff lost his temper with him but I also wondered if Tim is used to that kind of behaviour from when he was growing up?
