Why did Rana not call 999 or her mother or brother?

It was a good stunt but a disappointing death as Rana dying was well known in advance

I thought Abi was going to get electrocuted

Too contrived for me and once more they made the emergency services look like a bunch of idiots. One question - how on earth did Rana get into the building, and then the office, without being noticed - when all the others were in full view of the door which was supposedly locked as part of their "no one comes in and no one goes out policy"? To paraphrase Craig Revel-Horwood … PA- THE -TIC.

Izzy went out "unnoticed" too, did she leave the back way in her chair or the front entrance (ramp) with the door open?

Rana forgot her bag with the rings and vows inside, I think Kate said that

Certainly not realistic, way too OTT. The factory had a felt roof which is usual laid on chipboard, so where did all the bricks and building block rubble come from, presumably from the walls, but why would they break up because the roof caved in and unlikely that so much of it would end up outside the building. Can anyone remember what Gary said was the problem with the roof, something about there being a gap between the beams and the wall if I remember right? If the roof was that unstable it would have fallen in a long time ago.
Thought Rana would never die, she was talking continuously for an episode and a half, long enough for the cliched inpromptu 'marrige ceremony' to take place, and then passed away imediately. The emergency services would never have tolerated Kate being in there, they would have carried her out if necessary. As usual in the search for Soap Drama we get served up an exaggerated overacted hammy script and performance, entertaining maybe but totally unreal.
Who was the hoody on the roof with the crowbar, Gary or Seb?

I enjoyed how the episode was filmed a bit differently, with the camera panning around the factory at the start and then the aerial shot at the end. I agree about Kate and Rana - I just couldn't work up any interest in their unofficial "wedding" and Rana seemed to take forever to die. The person I really felt sorry for was Imran who has lost his sister - this will bring out new aspects of his character and hopefully give him some decent scenes with Toyah. On the whole, I enjoyed the stunt itself, but not the unrealistic aftermath, with everyone running out of the factory unharmed, etc.
Also, how did nobody hear Rana? The office is hardly soundproofed.

Hopefully Wayne is actually genuine about wanting to see Roy and not just playing him for information. I know he has a job to do but it would be nice if he and Roy could build a new friendship now Wayne is older.
