She is totally confused by Nathan's manipulations, I don't think she realises that she is a rape victim because Nathan approved what she did.

I know it needs to be highlighted. Her character is a bit unbelievable though. So not convincing for me. Would have been better to get a capable actress to do it then i may have watched. Also i do find it grim and creepy. I am already very aware of this subject so do not need educating on it.
The only thing i will miss on Corrie is Shona and David storyline the rest s not worth watching. Maybe if Phelan gets his comuppance. Tracy on thr run also stops me watching especially as she will get off again. This is the first time in 35 years i have ever stopped watching. So thank goodness for soapboards

I think the actress is excellent. She is playing the part of an innocent young girl who loves Nathan, no matter what. So he can manipulate her however he likes. I guess he must go too far with her at some point though. From spoiler pictures, perhaps by physically hurting her.

That episode was awful even for CS standards. Absolutely nothing positive to say. I think I may miss the rest of the week. On Friday I will watch Masterchef.

I did actually smile at David's description of Aidan. "I actually think he still fancies yer, but he fancies himself even more. He reminds me of a bull terrier, don't you think he has got an ead shaped like a massive egg."

yes true but i'm feeling as the storyline progresses her acting all happy loved up despite what she is doing with his mates irkes me and i too find the actress weak and as she looks near 20 not so out of place with a nathan or neil maybe if the storyline don't drag on with her sleeping with more of nathan's dirty mates i may feel different, i agree it is a good subject to cover if it gets vulnerable girls in this situation to reach out and talk so i hope corrie writers do it justice

i also thought nathan would want bethany off facebook now she is with him

I just don't like it. I am not affected by it. I also can't believe that Bethany would get in so deep. She is a strong girl and would tell somebody or kick him in the crutch and run home. Mary would sort it out.

I don'r recall Bethany having mentioned anything about a boyfriend in Italy before, she was 14 when they returned to Weatherfield so might not have had a boyfriend so I think she was referring to Nathan as first boyfriend and I am sure it was implied that Bethany was a virgin when she met Nathan.
