Sophie seems more upset over Kate than she was for Maddie

Is Sally's sister off her meds for bipolar, I am confused by her storyline

I am starting now to just side with Pat Phelan as his storyline is also confusing and his enemies left I do not really care about so go on #PatPhelan

Thought that too. She was more upset than she should be as it is only early stages of the relationship.

I'm glad Phelan didn't drown in concrete, that would have been too ridiculous for words. Apart from the fact that it is unlikely anyone would pour concrete when there is snow on the ground, as it would take longer to set and probably not have the desired strength for building foundations. Was the concrete pouring unattended when Phelan arrived on site, who was mixing it? was it ready mixed,? if so where was the delivery driver? The concrete looked very thin to me, more like dirty dish water.
You drop your phone into wet concrete, so you climb down into waist deep concrete to try and fish it out, why? It's not likely it would still be working. Then you get trapped by a single scaffold pole and a piece of flexible hose. Even if he had not slipped how was he planning to get out again, he should of fetched a ladder and used that to climb down. Were the fire brigade called to get him out? Surely it would have been better just to buy a new phone. Concrete will most likely be dry tomorrow, (according to the script) so will the bodies ever be found? - I think Phelan will live forever - one of the undead - perhaps Corrie will become a Zombie flick.

perhaps Corrie will become a Zombie flick?
Judging by the comments from a lot of members here (and elsewhere), you'd think it has been for a while already.

Yes, he dragged them out, placed them in the foundation of the building and started to pour concrete on them
