Still expensive, I grow my own, apart from blackfly, they virtually grow themselves.

My friends live on a narrowboat, cruising the canals of UK in the summer, used to spend the winter in Spain until Brexit put an end to that so now they just spend 90 days in Spain, then UK, then back in Spain then UK.... Brexit, the gift that keeps on giving to them. They did enjoy their beans with their Sunday roast though, apparently... at that price I would have forced them down my neck if I liked them or not hahhahaha

I am shocked that Glenda was denied the chance to sing. Perhaps the old chap will die and leave her a shed load of money to buy the Rovers.

5 people behind the bar last night. Far too many

Why does anybody think that new owners would change anything? If there aren't any customers now, changing owners wouldn't miraculously bring in new punters!

It would change things for Jenny, she would have the money from the sale, and the new owners would have the problem of running the pub.

We all know the Rovers will not shut, where would characters get together, Roy's? but he does not open in the evenings.

If TPTB say that it will thrive, it will thrive.

New owners might have different ideas, arrange for entertainment acts to perform, change menu (but not get rid of the hotpot, obviously!), maybe do 2for1 meal deals just to get punters in....
