It was so strange I wondered whether it was the first indication of a scam being worked on Daniel. He does, after all, know the location of the fabled "money tree" with his regular proclamation that he can pay Nicky for the whole afternoon/day/year/decade!

Why is Nicky working as a sex worker when she could be claiming benefits as a single parent? I am sure her mum would be willing to help with childcare from what I have seen of her so far.... So far I am not taking to this Pretty Woman storyline and while I can get Daniel wanting to replace Sinead I am not convinced it has to be with a prostitute?? I know Daniel works but the money Nicky is charging for an hour .. Daniel would not be able to afford her and certainly not after all this time ...

Yes, that's another thing that has struck me too. She keeps saying that being a prostitute (sorry, escort) is the only way she can earn money. Why is it the only way she can earn money? I'm sure there's plenty of other work she could find. She doesn't appear to be stupid or a drug addict.

Unless, of course, she watched Coronation Street when she was younger and holds Leanne up as some sort of life model!

She did say she had debts, altho' they did not say how much or who she owed it to. Again I feel this may be an after thought, so that Daniel could rescue her. I wonder if she was only meant to be there for a few episodes then they decided to extend her stay.

What has happened to the feller staying at the Rovers, (been that long since he was last there I have forgot his name). Did it ever come out that he beat those two (again, that long ago I have forgot their names) up and why? Is that it now with him an Johnny now we know about their past.
