In soapworld it comes from the fathers side, so it does.

I am really sorry this story has been put on the back burner. I really want to know how it plays out. I have no interest in any of the current stories. David's story is just silly, and I am not sure if it makes me a bad person but I have no interest in poor little Oliver. Maggie only started at the hospital recently but she already seems to be running the place already. As for her family I find them incredible boring. The racism story just seems to be a nod to Eastenders. The way the Bailey family has been written as a stereotypical black family I feel is a bit racist in itself.

It did not take long for that old Soap cliche where people shout at hospital doctors to raise it's head. I wish they would just forget about it now and again.
How many times has The Bistro opened or reopened and still people get excited about it.

Peter and Carla live there so are they looking after him?

Steve really really annoyed me. Does he just want them to guess because if he does, I am sure he would go mad if they guessed wrong.

Presumably we will see him again sometime, as he knew Johnny in the past and I don't think we were told where or when. Unless he was just an excuse to give Jenny and Johnny time off.

One of the silliest storylines ever if that was it...

I noticed in last night’s episode, Aggie Bailey said she’d “Got a shift tonight.”
In so many episodes I hear characters talking about ‘a shift’, rather than just ‘going to work’.

Do people really say shift as opposed to work in real life?
I understand perhaps they’re nurses or police who often do rotating shifts. Usually then, the people I remember used to say working nights, or earlies, but not really ‘shifts’.
Even the bar staff at the Rovers use the word shift as well.

I presume the story will reappear when Johnny returns. At the moment, while he is away, there is not much for the guest to be involved in.
