Yes, but she didn't let her take them because she had lived in the same house as them, not particularly because she didn't believe her.

I watched again. The SW knew that she was Hope's sister because Jade was accusing Fiz of not knowing that she was because she said she had told them. There then followed a scene where the SW was questioning Jade . Then the SW phoned Tyrone and told him that she Jade under investigation. So it can't be because she lived in the same house as they did . Under investigation means they suspect something, I should think.
