Surely it's now referred to an an RTC (Collision, not Accident)?

Collision is a better word because they are not all accidents

Todd Boyce aka STEEEEEPHEN is loving his characters killer deeds - and hopes there are more to come. "The producer thought Stephen would be around through 2023 and beyond" = so if I sign another contract that would take me to May 2024 reveals the actor. I hope so. It would be great to go down in the record books as the shows biggest serial killer. Stephen has a taste for it now and I think he figures that if he gets caught for three he might as well get caught for for or five!

I follow what you're saying. My point was that the scriptwriters had Craig say RTA, when the police now say RTC.
I saw a police documentary a couple of years ago when a police investigator said the abbreviation had been changed to RTC, saying there was no such thing as an 'accident'. There was always a reason behind the cause - whether driver concentration, mechanical failure of the vehicle, not paying attention to weather conditions, etc.
