Didn't Phelan post some amount of cash in envelopes through some of the locals doors?
Then he allowed then to think he did it not wanting a fuss, but told them it was a 'start' to pay them back their lost deposits by his own hard work.
That's my recollection of it, anyway.

I thought Eileen was calm about Todd's involvement in the scam, seem to accept it was Pat then it was Vinnie more who scammed everyone she is so gullibility stupid, did she tell Liz everything?

Eileen ... wow... words fail me, can she come back from this as someone you would want to know.. she knows what he did but is covering because her son would also be in trouble. But if he has lied about this how can she risk he isnt lying about the deaths.

I think she was in shock so I think there will be a reaction Pat will not like from her to come yet... I think by Easter this storyline will be over .. not totally convinced KO will give in to viewers demands to see proper justice rather than killing Phelan off but we shall see soon

I'm certain no one received all their money back. I thought it was something like a couple of thousand, but I'm willing to be corrected about that.

I don't think they said how much money he got from Vinnie but I assumed that although he gave some of it away, he kept most of it for himself.
