    They seem to be writing him now as if he sees himself as a victim, are we meant to believe this is how he really sees himself

    I think they're trying to make us see that he has some humanity but I really don't care about that "other side" of him, I just want him gone. Eileen used to be a funny character but now she just annoys me the way she can't see the truth about her husband. I can just see Pat trying to isolate her from other people, especially the ones who can see him for who he is, and it's just going to ruin the character even more.
