It was the coincidence with the password that annoyed me - why would it be related to the local football team in the first place and why the year they were founded? It could have been any significant year for the team, their first major win for example. I wonder if he would have kept asking Tim various trivia questions about football until he finally found the right number.. "Yeah, Jake's doing a major project..."

It's lazy writing, all the Soaps seem to do it now. They set plot points but don't put enough effort into the writing of how to reach them or connect them. They want Gary to have the money to rebuild the factory but the whole tale of him taking over Rick's business and now finding his money has been just impossible to believe. Eastenders have done this for years but now the others seem to be catching the habit. Soaps need drama but they should try to keep things within the bounds of reality and believability.

If there is any justice in the world Derek will ripped off Gary and scam all of Rick's money from him.

I like Emma and it's great to see her at the forefront of a serious storyline but I feel like it's all been landed on us in a short space of time. We've never met Emma's dad before, in fact she's hardly mentioned her family at all, and we never knew how close they were so although she acted it very well it was hard to share her grief. I'm still unsure about this upcoming storyline about her and Steve, but it might give Steve something more serious to do, which is a welcome change.
