Does not seem unreasonable to me. To sell it for less would not be worth the effort, even at 50% mark up, not a huge profit. There must be quite a lot of wastage in floristry, everything not sold within a few days ends up in a compost heap.

Are they suggesting that Toyah killed Lauren. I am struggling to remember what relationship or dealings Toyah had with Lauren.

No, I don't think so. I believe this is leading to a completely different story concerning Toyah's past.
