    Answer: water
In reality it was a cryptic Telegraph crossword clue about forty years ago.
Why is the answer 'water'? Because the clue goes from H to O (H2O)

Thanks, I never was good at cryptic crosswords. I thought H2O would be involved somehow but I could not see it. Simple when you explain it. But I am sure Morse would have.

It seems like David is the real Inspector Morse not Craig. Perhaps they should swap jobs.

Just to keep crossword clues going, but in lighter humour:
Morse: I've been looking for a clue for two weeks now.
    Lewis: How about a 'fortnight'?

Same special effects as Emmerdale, ITV must have bought a cut price app, and decided to get their money's worth.

I fail to see what Platt did that was so good apart from showing us his silly hair.

Far too many silly people tonight. The best scene for me was the Platt family gathered round a plate of cakes as if they were on Googlebox

It's a shame about your Davidphobia. I agree with lizann that David was the best thing about tonight's episode. He had some great one liners.

Other than that, I thought that all in all it was a pretty poor episode, but at least Steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeephen has gone for ever and I can stop fast forwarding.
