Coming up on Hollyoaks, James Nightingale makes a move that John Paul McQueen really wasn't expecting when he suddenly pops the question.

James (Gregory Finnegan) proposes on the very same day that John Paul and Ste Hay open their decrees absolute, officially marking the end of their ill-fated marriage.

Insensitive Harry Thompson has a surprise for Ste by organising a divorce party for him and John Paul, but it's James who makes an even more unexpected move by suddenly asking John Paul to marry him.

While we can't give away how John Paul (James Sutton) responds, things aren't exactly looking too great for the couple in the aftermath when James's behaviour becomes a major cause for concern.

Impulsive James buys a new sports car and takes John Paul out on a trip, but John Paul is terrified over his dangerously fast driving.

When James stops the car at the top of a slope, could a terrifying situation lie ahead? Let's not forget those rumours of a grisly cliff ending for John Paul...

Jack is trying to win over Frankie but her mind is elsewhere. Myra is tempted by Diego's suggestion whilst Sienna, Goldie and Cleo head on a night out with embarrassing consequences. Later, John Paul becomes concerned with James' behavior.
