I cannot believe Ashley, John Middleton in Emmerdale is not up for Best Serial Performance.

I think the Robron fans will ensure Danny Wins, don't really care about the newcomer and it would be nice for Emmerdale to win best soap as they have never won the NTA before, then their bulging award cabinet will be complete.

As long as Coronation Street doesn't win best soap I don't mind. However I do like Jack P Shepherd. He is wasted on that soap and as a Yorkshire man I wish he would pop over the pennies to Emmerdale. He would be great in that show. I think EastEnders stands a chance of winning best soap since the New Year.

    Leave Jack to Corrie please!

He's one of the few actors in the show who can rise above the current dire writing.

Here's who I voted for (its like Euro-vision):-

Serial Drama Performance: Jack P Shepherd

Drama performance: Sarah Lancashire (Happy Valley)

    Drama: Happy Valley

    Period Drama: Peaky Blinders

    Challenge Show: Master Chef

    TV Judge: Mary Berry

    TV Presenters: Mel and Sue

I couldn't decide on best Serial (soap) or newcomer, (none were deserving) so didn't cast a vote. There was a few categorises I skipped. None of the comedies on the shortlist were worth voting for. It would be highly amusing if Coronation Street won best Soap. I have a feeling (I can feel it in my waters) this will be Emmerdale's evening (apart from newcomer as they didn't make the shortlist.)
