Hollyoaks couple Cindy and Dirk Savage take a big risk this Christmas as they finally start spending some of Jude's dirty money, but they face two big shocks over the festive season.

Cindy (Stephanie Waring) was recently left with an unexpected windfall when Jude fled the village and left behind some of the cash she'd earned from her property scam.

Although the Savages have been reluctant to arouse suspicions by suddenly flashing the cash, Dirk (David Kennedy) decides it's time to bite the bullet when Christmas week arrives.

Dirk offers Freddie some cash to buy the Roscoes' house, despite Cindy protesting that everyone will want to know where the money came from.

Fortunately, Cindy later stops panicking and prepares herself for the best Christmas she's ever had. Not only does she have a new home to look forward to, her son Alfie Nightingale (Richard Linnell) has even agreed to spend Christmas Day with her – there's a turn-up for the books!

It's not all good news for Cindy, though. She's stunned when she finds her daughter Holly in a compromising position with Nick in the back of Dirk's van, so she immediately forbids them from dating while they're living under her roof.

Later, Cindy, Dirk, Holly and Alfie start moving things into the Roscoe house, but they panic when they hear someone moving around upstairs. Who could the intruder be?

One thing's for sure – the Savages are certainly facing an eventful time this Christmas!

Meanwhile, Hollyoaks newcomer Prince McQueen could ruin Sienna Blake's scheming with a sneaky tip-off to Warren Fox.

When Prince (Malique Thompson-Dwyer) breaks into the garage in yet another rebellious act, he's forced to hide when Warren and Sienna arrive and almost catch him out.

Warren (Jamie Lomas) has an exciting surprise for Sienna in the form of a rented convertible and offers to take her shopping, but she lies that she's got to help Myra McQueen with a charity food drive at church instead.

Later on, nosy Prince tells Warren that Sienna isn't with Myra, meaning that she lied to him earlier.

Soon afterwards, Warren confronts Sienna with a photo of her and another man. Will he finally figure out what she's been up to with his son Joel?

Over on Hollyoaks, here's a first look at the moment that John Paul McQueen's relationship with James Nightingale hits the rocks over the festive season.

John Paul (James Sutton) shows his faith in James next week when he lets him look after Matthew-Jesus for the day, but it turns out that his confidence in his boyfriend may have been misplaced.

When John Paul returns home and walks in on James (Gregory Finnegan) shouting furiously at Matthew, he's appalled and starts to question their relationship.

The couple's fall-out leads to John Paul deciding to spend Christmas without James, much to the delight of Scott Drinkwell, who still hopes he has a chance with his ex.

When Scott enjoys Christmas Day at the McQueen house, he even takes a sneaky look at an apology text that James has sent to John Paul and intervenes by deleting it.

Scott's scheming appears to have been thwarted when James later turns up at the McQueens' wearing a Christmas jumper and promises to do better with Matthew from now on, but an undeterred Scott continues to cause trouble.

As everyone gets stuck into some Christmas party games, Scott's blatant flirting with John Paul starts to infuriate James. Could Scott still come between them, or is he onto a loser with this one?
