The first and hopefully last performance of the Big Brother produced Romeo and Juliet ballet has taken place, and it was an action-packed dancing extravaganza.

"Let's get physical!" Anthony called, adding some 70s Travolta-style to the traditional ballet moves of plie, arabesque, grand jete, pirouette, and releve, which must be included in each scene if the Housemates want to pass the task.

Trained dancers Saskia, Anthony and Kemal gracefully bounded around the garden, only to be interrupted by an enthusiastic Eugene. It was like watching a friendly hippo trying to play with a bunch of gazelles. But at least he tried, bless him.

The Housemates performed each scene with enthusiasm and some degree of skill, adding their own quirks to the classic story.

The balcony scene was full of longing and passion, and Anthony tried snogging Orlaith again, after being rebuffed last night. Amazed to find Orlaith much more receptive today, he added a little bum squeezing to the mix, which we're sure was not in the original script.

We're not quite sure why Lord Montague (Makosi) decided to straddle the dead Tybalt (Saskia) and wiggle his bum at him, but we're sure it's all in the interpretation.

The rain fell softly as the sombre music rang out for Juliet's fake death scene, and it was actually rather moving. Especially when Lord Capulet (Maxwell) clicked his heels Tommy Steel style over his daughter's prone body.

If you listen closely you can hear the sound of William Shakespeare spinning in his grave...
