Over to EastEnders, where we have your very first look at Masood Ahmed's final week in Walford.

Masood (Nitin Ganatra) will be bowing out from Albert Square later this month, and this time it's for good. He definitely won't be popping back a few weeks later!

We'll see Masood's exit storyline begin when his ex-wife Zainab makes contact with Denise Fox with some surprising news. Although Zainab wants it to be kept quiet, Denise can't resist sharing the gossip with Masood.

We can't reveal exactly what Zainab's revelation is just yet, but it clearly has a big impact on Masood. Once he's heard what's happened with Zainab, he makes a huge decision which would mean waving goodbye to Walford.

As Masood shares his plans with his various friends on the Square, they go down particularly badly with Denise and Carmel – with Denise even warning him not to make a fool of himself.

With Denise determined to make Masood stay, will they part on bad terms? And will Jane come out in support of Masood or not?

Meanwhile, cash-strapped Lee lies to Whitney by claiming that the flat they viewed last week has already gone. When Jack offers them a flat at Number 5 at a discounted rate, Lee fears that he can't afford this either.

Elsewhere, Ronnie invites her sister over for dinner, but will this make Roxy feel any less isolated from her family?

Also today, Kathy asks Ian to finance the Square's Christmas tree this year as the council won't be providing one – again!

Finally, Stacey's money woes continue.

Masood's plan to leave isn't popular with everyone – particularly Carmel and Denise.

Masood's final day in Walford has arrived, but Denise hasn't yet given up on her attempts to keep him around.

When Denise carries out a last-ditch plan to convince Masood to stay, it leads to a huge argument between the two friends. Will they make up before Masood leaves, or are they parting on bad terms?

Meanwhile, it's Lee's birthday today. After a heart-to-heart with Shirley, he decides to do the right thing by telling Jack that he and Whitney don't want the flat anymore.

Lee struggles to break the news to Whitney and when he sees her become increasingly excited over the future, he changes his mind and uses drastic measures to pay the deposit.

Elsewhere, Roxy gets another chance to prove herself – picking Amy and Ricky up from school.

Things are getting more and more desperate for long suffering Lee Carter in EastEnders tonight as he struggles to raise the cash for a deposit on a flat. Knowing that Whitney has her heart set on getting a place together, Lee is feeling the pressure mount and last night felt awful after resorting to stealing one of Linda’s sentimental bracelets. But it’s all about to get a lot worse.
Lee soon realises that the jewellery isn’t financially valuable enough to get even close to a flat deposit and his mood is strained as the family try to celebrate his birthday. As Shirley clocks that all is not well with him, she sits him down for a chat and he opens up about his fears over letting Whitney down. After a pep talk from Shirl, he decides to take action – but what he does might have disastrous consequences and not just for him.
Determined to get the flat deposit put down at all costs, just what is Lee about to get himself into?
