As Halloween descends on the village, Nico Blake's evil crimes have finally been exposed and her mum Sienna has been freed from prison at last.

With Nico getting increasingly desperate, she's locked her best friend Peri Lomax back in the bunker and has started drugging her to keep her under control.

Nico's obsession with Peri is clearly growing to dangerous levels, but she's also keen to target Tom Cunningham too - wanting to remove him from the picture as a rival for Peri's affections.

When Nico corners Tom in the fortune teller tent, will she kill him? Where exactly will this year's big stunt come into the picture? And is Sienna heading for her very own final showdown with her daughter?

Sparks are flying between loved-up Joe and Mercedes. Jesse feels guilty as the Spooktacular is devastated by disaster, while Cindy and Jude have seduction on their minds. But Halloween isn't over and the Grim Reaper hasn't yet finished with the people of Hollyoaks.

It's the morning after the 'horror of Halloween' and Sienna finds an unlikely shoulder to cry on. Freddie is faced with new responsibilities, while Nancy reveals a painful secret to her family. With her scam exposed, Jude is in a moral dilemma; but which will she chose - family or fortune?

Jealous Joanne makes a terrible discovery and plans all-out revenge on Mercedes. Cindy and Dirk's luck seems to have changed, but can they enjoy their good fortune when Sally is left out of pocket? Monday

It's the day of the Halloween Spooktacular and a full-sized maze, fire display team, ferris wheel and Halloween paraphernalia has descended on Hollyoaks.

Jude opens the Spooktacular, but gets a fright of her own when Cindy confronts her about whether the housing development is a scam. Cindy sees how much money Jude has stolen and wants to tell her friends the truth. However, Liam has spotted the cash too and decides to steal it for Eva.

Meanwhile, Peri is terrified of being back in the bunker with Nico. At the same time, Sienna is freed from prison and knows they have to get to Nico before the police do. Nico drugs Peri again and goes to find Tom. When she corners Tom in the fortune teller tent, will she kill him?

Soon afterwards, Warren and Sienna arrive at the Spooktacular and are terrified at the thought of serial killer Nico on the loose among the celebrations.

Elsewhere, Mercedes agrees to meet Joe at the Spooktacular when Freddie reveals that Joe wants to propose.

Also today, Jesse is delighted when he's asked to join the fire display team. He and Celine get lost in the maze and when Jesse lets slip that he loves Celine, they end up kissing.


Tuesday

Nico heads into the maze with Sienna in pursuit.

Meanwhile, Liam catches Jude's eye, but all he really wants is her cash. Jude feels sick when she realises her bag of money is missing.

Elsewhere, Jesse and Celine emerge from the maze looking hot and flustered after 'making up'. Jesse drops his fire stick that he's been given by the fire display team and they rush off to find another secluded spot.

Also today, Mercedes joins Joe on the ferris wheel. However, jealous Joanne takes the key out of the control booth and the ride grinds to a halt. Forced together, Joe starts to paint a picture of what their lives could be like in the future. Will Mercedes thaw?


Wednesday

Jude and Cindy plot to seduce Liam to get their money back, but Dirk overhears their plan.

Dirk decides to deal with Liam in his own way and Cindy and Jude are overwhelmed by Dirk's tough guy routine.

Meanwhile, Mercedes and Joe are still stuck on the ferris wheel as their friends on the ground try to get them back down to Earth.


Thursday

Cindy and Jude sneak into Grace's flat in another attempt to get the cash from Liam. They eventually snatch the bag when Liam goes to bed.

Later, Cindy asks Jude to stay in Hollyoaks.

Meanwhile, Eva isn't concerned about the cash anymore and orders Liam to kill Jack today.

Elsewhere, Nancy tells Darren and Jack about the possibility of her having multiple sclerosis.


Friday

It's the day of Billy's funeral and Liam can't get Eva's order to kill Jack out of his head.

Eva is incensed when she sees Jack laying a wreath in the river for Billy and swears to kill him herself if Liam won't help her. She heads to the Osbornes' armed with a gun.

Meanwhile, Sally discovers that Jude's development company was a scam and leads the police to Cindy and Dirk. Cindy runs to the Osbornes' but the place is deserted.

Did the Osbornes escape, or are they all victims of Eva's revenge?

Hollyoaks fans, it's officially time for some carnage. The show is planning to kill off at least two main characters next week as a huge and devastating fire rages through the Halloween Spooktacular event.

Some of the village's best-loved characters and biggest villains will be in danger as the Channel 4 soap delivers its annual autumn spectacle in unmissable scenes.

These first look pictures show that the autumn stunt centres around the sinister maze which has been shipped into the village just in time for Halloween.

We're sworn to secrecy on how the blaze starts, but it sparks a terrifying chain of events that will claim at least two lives - and even those who survive won't forget what happened in a hurry.

Hollyoaks have officially confirmed that the major characters in danger are Joanne Cardsley, Tom Cunningham, Peri Lomax, Sienna Blake, Joe Roscoe, Nico Blake, Mercedes McQueen and Warren Fox.

All 8 will find themselves at the centre of the drama as serial killer Nico's reign of terror coincides with the fire, but Hollyoaks fans will have to tune in next week to find out who perishes and who survives.

Jamie Lomas, who plays Warren, revealed: "These are probably the best episodes I've ever seen. It's the way it looks and the way it's cut together - everyone involved is amazing.

"I've done quite a few fire scenes now, so it's normal for me! I love to be involved in this kind of thing. As an actor I live for these kind of moments.

"Our executive producer Bryan [Kirkwood] said that the scenes had him crying, so we knew that we'd done a good job!"

Anna Passey, who plays Sienna, added: "We filmed these episodes over a series of nights as well. There's always loads of excitement on set over night shoots.

"We had a great team involved and lots of time to rehearse the safety elements of it, but once you're in there and shooting the scenes, you know that you're only going to have one chance to do it!"

Hollyoaks kicks off its Halloween week on Monday, October 31 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
