- The Nate Escape. The Doc Wants To Leave The Bay - But Is He Running Away? Fans are in for a shock this week in Home and Away, with Nate planning to leave Summer Bay. The heartbroken doctor (Kyle Pryor) is poised to take a job at CareFlight. Will he turn his back on the Bay, his friends & love interest Tori? It's a concerned looking Tori who confronts Nate about a call she'd received from the hospital. She'd found out Nate was planning to work full-time for CareFlight. She gets to the point: is he really packing up & quitting Summer Bay? From a career perspective, you can see why Nate would want to take up the new job. "This opportunity has come up - and Nate's a bit of an action man," Kyle, 33, says. "The job is a great challenge that will test his abilities. He can't really pass it up." On a personal level, too, you can see why a change of routine might appeal to Nate. The pain of unrequited love might be enough to drive him away, in search of a fresh start. Ever since Tori arrived in the Bay, there have been sparks between the two medics. At first, they were both keen to be just friends. However, when Duncan showed up - and made his intentions clear with Tori - Nate realised, a little too late, he had real feelings for his pretty colleague. "He's done the gentlemanly thing of stepping aside & not getting in the way of Duncan & Tori," Kyle says. "Nate feels it's not the right time for him & Tori." And, after what happened with Ricky, it's clear Nate doesn't want to be part of another love triangle. "It's not like he hasn't been burnt in the past," Kyle points out. "All that stuff that occurred with Ricky & Brax - he definitely doesn't want to go down that path again!" Indeed, Nate has learnt from his past mistakes that it's better to cut your losses before things get painful. This week, he refuses to discuss his job opportunity with Tori. But, Duncan thinks it's pretty obvious Nate still likes her. Tori finds Nate in The Diner ordering dinner. He tries to make a quick exit, but she insists he stay & talk to her. Tori asks if he wants to leave because of her. Will Nate finally tell her the truth - that she's a very big part of his decision to make tracks? "The feelings are there for Tori & he can't really deny them," Kyle says.

- Ashes To Bashes. Crim Simmo Wages War On His Sworn Enemy. Ash's life hangs in the balance after he's beaten to a bloody pulp this week! Both Ash & notorious criminal Simmo are at each other's throats. It turns out Simmo has photographic proof of Ash's secret romance with Kat. If evidence of their relationship surfaces, it will surely cost Kat her job as a policewoman. An enraged Ash headbutts Simmo, knocking him out, before shoving him into the boot of a car. But, the violence doesn't end there, as Simmo plots his own revenge. First, he severs the brake line on the car VJ & pregnant Billie are about to drive. Then, Simmo sets his thugs on Ash, who attack him mercilessly. Will Ash survive the savage beating?

- Dream Of Jeannie. Who's Caught A Smitten Brody's Fancy? A beautiful stranger at the youth centre's beach volleyball comp has Brody Morgan smitten this week. After bumping into gorgeous Jeannie (Anna Bamford) at the event, Brody has stars in his eyes. Evie has organised the competition to raise money for the centre. Preparations are well underway. Brody, who's promised to donate money to the cause, comes across the mysterious Jeannie. "Evie has brought her along to play," Anna explains. But, before Brody can make a move, Jeannie disappears! Brody is so curious, he spends most of the day trying to find her. His excuse is he's returning a bracelet he thinks she's dropped. "She keeps disappearing," Anna says. "And, things keep happening to stop him from getting to her." Has Brody missed his chance?

They are now updating/amending the Australian episode schedules in the lead up to the season finale, starting with a triple episode now to be shown tomorrow night (Thurs 27 Oct), rather than the usual double episode on Thursday nights (I assume this will be for all Australian States). Consequently, the spoilers may be a bit out of kilter for the next few weeks eg. the spoiler for Monday 31 Oct in Perdita's original post in this thread i.e. "Hope returns from gaol... etc", is now supposed to be the 3rd part of the triple episode tomorrow night (Oct 27), & so on. I hope that makes sense!!


"Just to note that schedules are now being updated in order to accommodate more episodes in the lead up to the Season Finale (as I suspected they would, as they've got a lot to get through if there are indeed going to be 230 episodes this season). All the upcoming weeks now have triple episodes on the Thursday, and I suspect there may be quite a few more slotted in soon.

As such, things may become a bit messy over the next few weeks as we get the initial schedules and then the finalised ones nearer the time.
