Ed Bailey's horrified when son Michael accuses him of starting the fire at the builder's yard

Things look bleak for Ed when Craig arrives at number 3 to take him in for questioning.

Michael's not sure he can trust his dad, even though Ed's adamant he wasn't to blame. So Michael asks him outright and Ed vehemently denies setting fire to the yard.

    Is Michael convinced though? Hmm...

At the police station, Ed admits to DS Swain that he accidentally knocked over some white spirit by mistake, but swears he didn't set the fire deliberately.

When Ed and Dee-Dee come home, Michael's got something to say.

He accuses his dad of setting fire to the builder's yard so he could claim the insurance money.

    Ouch!

Poor Ed's devastated to realise just how angry Michael is with him.

Where do the Baileys go from here?

Meanwhile, with Tommy Orpington still doing the decorating at the Barlows' house, Steve's loving spending time with his hero. And his wife, Tracy of course!

So when Emma calls and invites him to spend the week with her in France, Steve's torn.

But despite wanting to hang out with Tommy O, he decides to visit Emma and heads off in a taxi.

Tim, Kirk and Kevin see their chance and head over to the house to fawn over the former footballer, hoping to drag him into the pub for a drink.

But Tracy sends the men packing and it's clear there's a spark between her and Tommy.

    And Steve's away...

Elsewhere, Simon is struggling to keep things going. He wakes up with a hangover and realises he spilled beer all over Nick's paperwork. Fortunately, he manages to print it all out again and he delivers it to the Bistro to a grateful Nick.

In fact, Nick's so pleased he urges Leanne to speak to Carla about giving Simon his job back.

Leanne pleads with Carla to understand that Simon's struggling without his dad in his life, and to give him another chance.

    Will Carla agree?

Elsewhere, Daniel finds Bethany writing an article in the cafe, and seeing her so absorbed asks what she's writing about.

But Bethany's evasive and avoids his questions. Later, she calls her publisher but it's clear they're not interested in her article.

There's bad news for Todd as Moses tells him he's moving to London to find another job.

    WEDNESDAY

Tracy Barlow gets VERY close to former footballer Tommy Orpington. Has she made a mistake or does she know exactly what she's doing?!

With Steve away, Tracy's the one supervising things at home, where Tommy is doing decorating.

When he arrives late, she gives him a telling off for his shonky timekeeping, but when he compliments her outfit, she's thrilled to bits.

Later, in the flower shop, Tracy and Mary are talking about Tommy and how sexy he looks in his overalls.

Mary points out that it's clear Toyah fancies the former footballer and suggests that Tracy does a bit of matchmaking.

But Tracy's got other plans. Instead she warns Toyah off, claiming Tommy's a terrible womaniser and he can't be trusted!

Back at the house, Tommy admits he fancies Tracy and the pair share a kiss.

But is this is big mistake, never to be repeated, or something more?

Elsewhere, Bethany's struggling for money and when Daniel reminds her it's her turn to treat him to tea, she knows she can't afford it. So she fibs and tells him she's working to a deadline.

She checks her bank balance and it is NOT looking good but she covers it in front of her mum.

Later she meets Suki from the Gazette, hoping to get some work from them, but there's no luck. Suki, though, suggests she tries Chit-Chat Magazine, as they could be looking for someone.

Is this a good move for Bethany?

Meanwhile, at number 3, Michael reveals he's told his brother James all about Ed's gambling debts and the fire at the yard.

But later Michael's left reeling when he sees Craig at the factory and Craig confirms that the fire was started by an electrical heater.

Michael's relieved Ed wasn't responsible but can they move on from his cruel words?

When Simon reveals Carla's given Bobby the job at the factory instread of him, Leanne offers to have a word.

Simon's not keen though and tells her to leave it.

Leanne, worried about her stepson, over-rules Nick and offers him a job at the Bistro instead.

But almost as soon as Si starts work, Bobby suggests they have a lock-in and Simon's tempted!

    Is Bobby a bad influence?

In the flat, Damon's dropping hints that he wants to move in with Sarah. Will she agree?
