We’re sorry, but it really is that time of the year where we have no choice but to start dropping the c-bomb – but we can lessen the blow of Christmas being just three months away by offering up some Coronation Street teasers.
Some of the characters who will be at the centre of the action in the winter storylines have been revealed – with an explosive showdown ahead for the Nazir clan as Sharif’s affair could be exposed, a return for Toyah Battersby and more drama for Maria Connor as her secret liaison with Aidan continues to bubble and Caz’s obsession brings new torment.

So in summary...
Sharif’s affair could be exposed and the results for the Nazirs are destined to be explosive. Can Yasmeen bring herself to forgive her husband after the betrayal and can the usually tight knit clan come back from this?
Zeedan and Rana’s relationship will also take centre stage and there are emotional scenes ahead – but is there heartbreak ahead?
Could there be a love triangle on the horizon as Aidan realises he might actually have feelings for Maria? And will Eva discover the shocking truth?
Toyah will be back to see Leanne but could there be another reason for her return?
Caz’s obsession will bring heartache for Maria as her life threatens to spiral out of control. But just what is Caz capable of?
Bethany continues to have a crush but could it spell trouble for the potential romance brewing for Gary and Sarah?
The drama is high in the run up to Christmas too as David’s shocking revenge explodes in a shocking stunt. Will everyone survive?
By the time Christmas comes around, the Barlow household will be full with the returns of Peter, Daniel and Adam – but what drama is ahead for the clan?
Coronation Street fans have shown much enthusiasm for the show of late, which has been taken over by Emmerdale’s former producer Kate Oates. And, judging from the sound of the storylines ahead, the soap is going to continue to go from strength to strength as it heads into Christmas and beyond.
