    Exclamation Regan Davis (Sabeena Manalis)

Ned Willis really is lurching straight from one Neighbours romantic drama to another.

Just when everyone was starting to get over Ned's crush on his dad's partner Lauren, now he's being thrown into another awkward situation as his old flame Regan Davis (Sabeena Manalis) arrives in Erinsborough.

Ned is currently dating feisty Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) and things seem to be going pretty well for them next week when he hints that he'll be sticking around on Ramsay Street for her sake.

Just as they seal the deal with a kiss at The Waterhole, Regan turns up at the bar and catches them together - and her glare says it all as she watches angrily from afar.

When Elly quizzes Ned on who this woman is, he pleads ignorance by pretending that he's never seen her before. Yeah, like that excuse is going to work!

Not buying it, Elly decides to be bold and confront him about his past – but getting the answers she wants from Ned proves more difficult than expected. How will she feel when the truth does come out?

Ben Hall, who plays Ned, recently spoke to Digital Spy about the Regan story - hinting at fireworks as we find out what he got up to after leaving Erinsborough following his first stint.

"As always, Ned brings a bit of strife with him. He's been off doing what I was doing - basically clearing his head, trying to find work and catching up with old friends," Ben told us.

"But like any young guy, Ned has also tried to get Lauren out of his head. When he gets back to the Street, he's running away from another problem because he's slept with someone and found out that she's married. He's a bit edgy about that!"

Ned may be edgy, but we reckon that'll be nothing compared to Elly's reaction once this all comes out...

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, September 19 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
