Olivia Deeble continues the family business landing role on Home and Away
TEENAGER Olivia Deeble is continuing a family tradition as the latest cast member of long-running Seven series Home and Away.
The granddaughter of The Sullivans’ Reg Gorman, Deeble has moved from Melbourne to Sydney with Gorman and her grandmother to pursue a three-year role as Raffy Morrison on the series.
“All of my family are actors. I’ve been really lucky to be around that, and I intend to continue that dream,” said The McDonald College student.
Deeble, 14, said she relies heavily on the advice that her grandfather, a screen industry veteran, provides her.
“He was on The Sullivans, and we talk about acting a lot. He’s always just taught me to just be me, and believe in myself and my ability,” she said.
As for her long-term ambitions, the talented teen said she was gunning for a career on the international stage.
“I’d love to work overseas, in films. Not necessarily in Hollywood, I’d love to work in the UK or France or anywhere,” she said.
