Exclamation Home and Away (UK) Spoilers 19th - 23rd Sep 2016

    Monday

Spike confirms that he's arrived in Summer Bay to get Justin's dad's book. Justin doesn't know anything about it, but Spike warns that if Justin doesn't find this book, his whole family will pay. He leaves Justin and Phoebe to continue the search, threatening to return soon. He also warns that they better not call the cops, or involve the other Morgan siblings.

Now alone, Justin tells Phoebe the rest of the story of their witness protection. He explains that Decker thought his dad may have been collecting information on The Syndicate - maybe that's what this "book" is. He decides to go ahead and continue the search, believing it may be his only chance to end his family's ties to the Syndicate once and for all.

After Brody's van is trashed as a warning from Spike, it leaves Justin and Phoebe more determined than ever to find the book. Going through the Morgan childhood mementos, Phoebe finds Bernie the bear and comments on his collar with the word "Waldo" on it. Justin's confused - he's never had a collar on before. He turns over the tag and finds a number on it - could they have found a clue?

Meanwhile, Kat has decided to try out for a job at the university as a criminology tutor and has an interview lined up. Despite a shaky start, the interviewer - Professor Calabra - is happy to offer Kat the job as long as her references check out.

Kat is thrilled, but she doesn't count on her old Sergeant telling Calabra about her relationship with Ash, a former criminal. Suddenly Kat's credibility is ruined and she loses the job before she's even started. Later, Kat tells Ash that she lost the job because of him – she made one bad decision and she's still paying for it.

Elsewhere, Chris accuses Brody of stealing his burger recipe. When Brody's van is trashed, he thinks it's an act of revenge.

    Tuesday

Evie is feeling horrendously hungover when Matt plonks himself down beside her on the beach. He's quickly able to figure out that Evie is still partying hard. Matt shares his concerns with Mason, who promises to talk to Evie. Alf also expresses his annoyance at Evie arriving home late and being inconsiderate.

When Mason puts his foot in it with a joke about Evie drinking too much, it's the final straw for her as she loses her temper. Mason admits that he and Matt had a chat about her partying and Evie blows up over their interference. She's so harsh that Alf has to interrupt the thrashing she's giving Mason. Alf tries to talk to Evie again, but she's hell bent on pushing everyone away.

Later, Evie apologises to Mason for her behaviour and promises that she'll try to curb her rebellious ways. As the pair grow closer again, Evie leans in to kiss Mason and he doesn't object…

Meanwhile, Ash confronts Sergeant McCarthy, berating him for giving Kat a bad reference and causing her to lose the job she was going for at the university. McCarthy points out to Ash that he was asked for his honest opinion and gave it. McCarthy then goes to Kat, wishing that she'd come to him to air her grievances in person, rather than sending her boyfriend as the messenger. Kat is taken aback to hear what Ash has done and insists she didn't put him up to it.

Kat later calms down over the situation and thanks Ash for defending her, but despite his support, she's still adamant that they have no future together.

Elsewhere, Chris's vendetta against Brody's cooking gets ever more ridiculous when he challenges him to a cook-off.

    Wednesday

Mason finds Evelyn alone in the darkened lounge and she's clearly upset in the wake of their hook-up. He's confronted to learn that she is haunted by the ghosts of her recent romantic past. However, the truth is that he is too and it only confirms for them both that their first instinct was right - they should just be friends. Evie also reaches an important realisation - all of her recent partying has been an attempt to outrun her demons, rather than face them head on.

Later, Evie offers to help Mason through some boring filing work - one of the downsides to being a med student. Locked in Evie's room together, they do their best to power through it, but soon the boredom gets too much and something else takes over - lust. Evelyn and Mason are shocked to find themselves in bed once again. But then Evelyn hits on an idea - why can't they be friends with benefits?

Meanwhile, Duncan has organised a special outing for his nearest and dearest to coincide with Tori's upcoming 30th birthday. However, Alf is furious when he gets wind of it. He accuses Duncan of neglecting his responsibility to make good on his overdue child maintenance, which only serves to drive them further apart. Is Duncan a new man, or the same selfish kid he's always been?

Elsewhere, Nate is also facing a question of character as he tries to build a bridge to Tori after drunkenly confessing his feelings a few nights ago.

Also today, Leah finds it difficult to embrace the fact that she is soon to be a grandmother.

    Thursday

Justin and Phoebe finally make a breakthrough in the search for the book, finding a receipt to a storage unit. Suspecting the book is there, they head off to find it. After convincing the storage facility attendant to give them access to the unit, they discover an address book, containing all the contact details of everyone in the drug smuggling network.

At the same time, Duncan finally reveals his birthday surprise to Tori - he's flying her with her friends and family to a winery for an overnight stay.

Later, Tori drives past Justin, who's waiting to meet Spike to hand him the book. She approaches to ask him to come along on her birthday flight, but much to her surprise, Justin declines. Tori persists, wanting to bury the hatchet and refusing to budge when he tells her that he's busy. Desperate to keep Tori out of harm's way, Justin tersely sends her packing, leaving her hurt and him feeling terrible.

Meanwhile, Duncan discovers that Alf has paid his child support and angrily confronts him, but Alf again puts Duncan down. This time, Duncan snaps. He claims that if Alf is unhappy with the man he's become, it's only because he was such a terrible father when Ailsa died. Duncan storms off to the airport, leaving Alf badly rattled.

Elsewhere, Tabitha stops Olivia from making amends with Hunter.

Also today, Zac gets the principal's job at Summer Bay High, but lies to Leah about the starting date.

    Friday

Justin hands over the little black book to Spike, but as he walks away, several police cars pull up. After a very short chase, Spike is arrested by Decker. Justin demands to know why Decker put him and his family in danger by waiting to arrest Spike until they found the book. Decker reassures Justin, explaining the book will lead them to the rest of The Syndicate.

As Spike is driven away, he leans to the window and tells Justin to say goodbye to his sister for him. Decker tells Justin not to worry about the apparent threat, as Spike is just desperate. Justin tries to call his siblings, but they ignore him.

Later, Justin arrives at the house. When he finds the paperwork for the flight, he realises that he needs to get to the airport ASAP. However, by the time he gets there, the plane is already heading down the runway with Duncan, Tori, Leah, Irene, Billie, Nate, Evelyn, Brody and Mason all on board. He desperately chases after them, but they take off without seeing him. Justin left out of breath and scared - what's going to happen to his family?

Meanwhile, Olivia worries about how well she did in her exams. Tabitha, claiming a sixth sense, reassures her that she aced them.

Elsewhere, Leah confronts Zac over his lie about starting his new job straight away.
