Monday

A conflicted Kat is still requesting space from Ash after finding out about the garage money having come from Andy and his dodgy dealings. With Kat feeling torn between her knowledge of criminal activity and her role as a police officer, Ash begs her to look the other way. Kat tells Ash that she only has one option - to confess the truth about the source of the $50,000. This causes a huge fight between the pair and Kat is distraught that she has become a crooked cop.

Later, Kat arrives at the police station with news for McCarthy. We see Kat turn in her badge and uniform, take her belongings and sign a statement. But did she confess, or is this something else?

Meanwhile, Matt notices the growing warmth between Mason and Evie, but Evie flatly denies that anything is going on between the pair. Later, Evie attends a uni party with Matt. It soon becomes clear that the party is a messy one and Evie immediately gets into the spirit of it by downing some shots and continuing to drink.

Matt comments on the drinking but Evie just wants to have fun - and thinks she deserves some. When Matt notices a drug exchange taking place, he thinks it's time to leave. However, Evie doesn't want to go and an argument ensues between the pair until Evie moves off, determined to carry on partying.

Elsewhere, Aaron denies having robbed Marilyn and John.

Tuesday

Kat sits at alone in the dark at home, utterly devastated by her decision to resign. Ash is shocked by the news. It's the last thing he wanted, but Kat insists it was the only way she could protect his secret and still live with herself. Ash pleads with her to reconsider, but she's convinced that she doesn't deserve to be a cop anymore. He can tell she's starting to unravel, but she rejects his support and demands space.

Later, Ash turns to Billie for help and reluctantly reveals the truth about why Kat resigned. Billie is shocked by the revelations. She advises Ash to give Kat the space she needs, but later can't resist reaching out to Kat herself and urges her to reconsider.

Billie encourages Kat to see that not everything is black and white, but this just inflames Kat even more. She's adamant that her decision is final, but once alone again, she's overwhelmed by all the pressure. Kat struggles to breathe, caught in the grip of a panic attack.

Meanwhile, Evie is a mess as the uni party gets rowdier. Mason decides to let her sleep it off at his place, rather than let Zac and Leah see her so smashed.

They arrive home just as Brody is preparing for bed. Evie is quite the handful, unwilling to let the party end, but Mason is patient and caring. Evie then drunkenly misreads the signals and tries to kiss Mason. He pulls away, kindly reminding her about their "just friends" policy.

Elsewhere, John and Marilyn grapple with a shock change of heart as Jordan makes the heart-wrenching decision to go and live with Aaron in the city.

Wednesday

A worried Ash tries to support Kat as she suffers from an anxiety attack on the beach. Kat is shaken, confronted by her inability to control her anxiety. After agreeing to get checked out, Kat tells Nate that she's struggling after deciding to resign. Without her career, she doesn't know who she is anymore. Nate wonders if her anxiety has anything to do with Ash, but she tells him to get out.

Later, Ash pledges to change for Kat, but she realises that they've reached the end of the road. With her heart breaking, she tells Ash that she loves him but walks away. Ash is devastated and trashes the garage before breaking down.

Meanwhile, Nate makes a hash of breaking up with Danika, explaining that he's only just coming out of his marriage. Danika pulls him up on his excuses, admitting that she knows this is about his boss Tori. Nate's day only gets worse when he sees Tori and Duncan setting off on a lunch date together. Nate is convinced he's lost the one woman he really does care about.

Elsewhere, Duncan is thrown to learn that his ex-wife has been in touch and told Alf that he hasn't paid child support in months. Duncan tries to explain himself but Alf is quick to berate him - what kind of a man can't give a little extra to look after their kid? Duncan is offended and walks out. Roo presses Alf to follow and apologise, but he refuses. What will it take to breach the divide between father and son?

Thursday

Alf shows up at the Diner searching for Duncan, as he wants to sort a few things out. Overhearing this, Nate admits that he saw Duncan with Tori. Alf is annoyed by the news and marches off.

When Alf returns home, he continues to be frustrated that his son has skipped out on his responsibilities and now he's off gallivanting on a date. Roo stops Alf from calling Duncan's wife - that's their business.

Meanwhile, Phoebe and Justin's 'not-a-date' dinner goes well, as they reflect on when they first met. It's clear sparks are beginning to fly, and Phoebe is privately getting worried.

Later, Phoebe confronts Justin, saying it's time he moves out. He agrees but on one condition - she tells him the real reason he's being kicked out. She says that he knows why and it's not long before the two are kissing.

Elsewhere, there's tension between Tabitha and Hunter over Olivia.

Friday

Nate is feeling good after his movie night with Chris, but when he tells Tori that he broke things off with Danika and she nonchalantly encourages him to meet someone else, he suddenly feels the need for another run to clear his head. Chris confronts Tori about her and Nate's possible connection, but she's eager to get her coffee and go. Chris presses and Tori reveals that she's heard dating Nate isn't the safest thing to do - he's a serial cheater and she doesn't want to just be another notch on his bed post.

Chris chases after Nate, telling him he still has a shot with Tori and encourages him to sort out the misunderstanding, but Nate is uninterested in having to defend himself. He can't believe how wrong Tori is about him. Chris concedes that she might have a point, but Nate dismisses the idea until he's reminded of his chequered dating history. Much to his disappointment, Nate realises how it might look to Tori.

Ever the optimist, Chris is adamant that Nate just needs a grand romantic gesture. Sure enough, Nate lands on Tori's doorstep and launches into a drunken speech, trying to explain why she's wrong about him. Sadly, it's a mess and he's left to fear that he's now blown things with Tori for good.

Meanwhile, Brody warns Phoebe that Justin is only going to hurt her. Phoebe is adamant that she can look after herself, but Brody forces her to consider whether Justin is only going to use her and toss her away.

Later, just as Phoebe and Justin consider their options and how to move forward after Brody's warning, Spike appears. He's back and his sights are fixed firmly on Justin.

Elsewhere, Olivia falls for Tabitha's manipulations, pushing Hunter away.
