    Exclamation EastEnders Spoilers 15th- 19th August 2016

Is EastEnders schemer Babe Smith about to get her comeuppance in brutal style?

These surprising new pictures show the dramatic moment that Whitney Dean and Linda Carter find Babe (Annette Badland) unconscious at the Queen Vic after her bad behaviour continues.

The trouble brews shortly after Babe has tried to worm her way back into the Carter family's affections following the recent revelations over Lee and Abi.

When Linda (Kellie Bright) warns that she actually has a long way to go before she'll be forgiven by the Carters, the news sends Babe into a spiral as she starts to lash out at everyone around her.

After run-ins with both Claudette Hubbard and Les Coker, out-of-control Babe then causes havoc at the Queen Vic - forcing Linda to fire Abi to stop all the bickering.

Later, as Babe closes up for the day, she receives a shock when someone takes their revenge – but who is it?

As Linda and Whitney find her, the only certainty is that there'll be no shortage of suspects. Has someone really attacked Babe and left her for dead?

So, another one of those subtle EE plots, where someone upsets loads of people over the course of a few weeks and is then found dead or badly injured and, ta da, we have a whodunnit on our hands. Has anything like this ever been done before?

    Monday

Babe is determined to worm her way back in with the Carters at The Vic, but Linda warns her that she has a long way to go. Babe realises that it might be best to leave, but after another clash with Claudette, she becomes more determined than ever to get what she wants. After sharing some harsh words with Les and demanding more blackmail money, Babe causes havoc at The Vic.

Later, Linda gets fed up with all of the bickering at the pub and takes action by firing Abi. When Babe closes up for the day, she gets a shock when someone takes their revenge – but who is it?

Meanwhile, Roxy is furious when she discovers that Ronnie has written to Dean and asked him to plead guilty at the trial. Jack and Ronnie try to prepare Roxy for the challenge ahead.

Elsewhere, Patrick agrees to have dinner at Dot's, but he soon realises he has been set up by Dot when she reveals that Claudette is also invited. Patrick and Claudette find themselves alone and end up going back to Patrick's together despite their reservations.

Also today, Denise does her best to avoid Kush after spending the night with him, explaining that Carmel is too much of a friend for them to be together. However, when Carmel mentions the importance of taking chances as she prepares for her job interview with Mr Lister, Denise throws caution to the wind and invites Kush over.

Finally, Belinda is horrified by Masood's attempts to enhance her salon profile online.

    Wednesday

Linda and Whitney are horrified to discover Babe unconscious and she is quickly rushed to hospital. The next morning, Linda is determined to get to the bottom of what happened to Babe, so she confronts Claudette and demands to know why she was arguing with Babe yesterday. Patrick jumps to Claudette's defence when it becomes clear that Linda is accusing her of being behind the attack.

Donna and Vincent are also suspicious of Claudette, but she once again denies having anything to do with what happened to Babe. With her family turning their backs on her once more, Claudette retaliates by telling Mick and Linda what Babe has been doing to Pam and Les.

Meanwhile, a nervous Roxy prepares to give evidence at Dean's trial, but she tells Ronnie that she wants to face it on her own. Later, an upset Roxy tells Ronnie how it went in court.

Elsewhere, Denise and Kush continue to see each other in secret.

Also today, Carmel gets the market enforcement officer job.

Finally, Buster grows frustrated when Shirley refuses to open up about the trial.

    Thursday

It's Shirley's turn to give evidence at Dean's trial and she considers buying booze to help her through the day until Denise talks her out of it. After confiding in Kathy and Denise about her worries, she heads to the court with Denise by her side.

Later, Shirley admits to Mick that it didn't go well at the trial and she blames herself for being a bad mother. Shirley joins Roxy in The Vic, where they learn the jury's verdict will be revealed tomorrow. Linda can't help worrying that Dean will be found innocent.

Meanwhile, Buster grows frustrated when he feels pushed away by Shirley, but his mood picks up when Kathy invites him to a family dinner. Jane realises there is something going on between the pair and warns Kathy to be careful.

Elsewhere, Carmel starts to have doubts about taking on the market enforcement officer job, but Kush assures her she'll be great.

    Friday

Emotions continue to run high as the local residents wait to hear the outcome of Dean's trial. Ronnie, Roxy, Linda and Shirley find themselves waiting together at The Vic, where they discuss Dean and everything that's happened.

As the ladies all reveal their feelings, they offer words of support to each other and Ronnie insists that Dean is the only person at fault. But will Dean be found guilty or not guilty?

Meanwhile, Buster confides in Kathy about Shirley and admits that he thinks she blames him for what's happened with Dean.

Kathy opens up over her own past, which gives Buster food for thought. He leaves for court but soon returns with the verdict.
