    Exclamation EastEnders Spoilers 8th - 12th August 2016

EastEnders have released exciting new pictures of Grant Mitchell's much-anticipated return to Walford - and they show him growing closer to his ex-flame Kathy Beale.

Upcoming scenes will see Sharon reach out to Grant (Ross Kemp) for help with the Mitchell family's ongoing problems, but she could live to regret her actions when his comeback brings about even more trouble.

When Grant and Phil come face to face again, their reunion soon turns nasty when Grant accuses Phil of helping their mother Peggy to die.

Although Phil firmly denies that this was the case, things grow even worse when the topic of the owed money comes up, prompting a furious Phil to demand that Grant leaves straight away.

With Sharon unable to get through to either of them, Kathy steps in to intervene. After finding Grant sitting alone on the Square, she tries to give him some advice.

A concerned Kathy encourages Grant to open up about everything that's happened with Peggy, but will he accept her help? Or will he continue to direct his anger towards Phil?

EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, August 8 at 8pm and Tuesday, August 9 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

    Monday

Grant opens up to Sharon following his return, but she encourages him to talk to Phil about everything that's happened.

When the Mitchell brothers come face-to-face, Grant accuses Phil of helping Peggy to die. Phil is furious and insists that he had nothing to do with it, while Sharon urges the two of them to stop arguing.

Sadly, there's not much chance of that as things get even worse when the topic of the owed money comes up. Finally losing patience, Phil tells Grant to leave. Sharon begs Phil to let Grant help, but it may be too late as she is unable to find him.

Later, Grant finds himself in the arms of one lucky Walford lady...

Meanwhile, Billy turns to Jay for help with Ben after he makes the decision to see Paul's body. Ben soon realises what's going on with Jay and after a heart-to-heart, they both realise they only have each other - but what are they plotting?

    Tuesday

Kathy tries to get Grant to open up, but he turns the tables by demanding the money he is owed. Not long afterwards, Grant has a heart-to-heart with Jane. The topic of Sharon comes up, but they're interrupted when a livid Ian arrives with Kathy, who has told him about the money she owes.

Despite Jane recommending they should help, a stern Ian refuses to help Grant and tells him to talk to Phil instead. What will happen when Phil finally tries to reach out to his brother?

Meanwhile, Ben returns home and assures Phil and Sharon he's going to leave finding Paul's killers to the police.

Elsewhere, Belinda opens up to Stacey about her fears for the salon and Stacey offers to help out.

    Thursday

Tensions continue to simmer for the Mitchell family.

Meanwhile, when Carmel grows frustrated at the state of the market, Masood encourages her to go for the marker inspector job. With Masood's words on her mind, Carmel tells Denise that she has decided to apply. She also opens up about her feelings for Masood, suggesting they could be friends with benefits.

Later on, Carmel puts the question to Masood but he gets the wrong end of the stick and tells her that he can't be in a relationship.

Elsewhere, Belinda and Stacey prepare for the opening of the new salon Elysium, but things get off to a bad start. Despite this, the day turns out to be a success and both of them celebrate once they return home.

Also today, Donna is impressed by Claudette's efforts to help Pam and Les, so she invites her to move into her spare room. Despite Vincent's plea for her to keep her head down, Claudette gives Babe a firm warming to stay away from Pam and Les.

Finally, Kim makes Patrick wonder if Dot has a thing for him.

    Friday

Kim encourages Kush to go to The Albert's 'lock and key' dating night, much to the amusement of Shakil.

Things quickly become awkward when Kush is matched with Carmel at the dating night. Frustrated that nothing good has come of the night, Carmel leaves.

Meanwhile, Babe continues to play games with the Carters and manages to work her way back into the kitchen at The Vic, much to Abi's frustration. Despite Shirley's warning, Mick is impressed by Babe's polite attitude to Abi, so Linda offers her more shifts.

Later, Claudette tells Babe to stay away from the Cokers, but after her successful day in The Vic, she tells Claudette she is expecting the payments to continue.
