I think it's to do with revenge on Rekesh for Emma and James' missing deposit on Mill Cottage.

Over on Emmerdale, a scheming Chrissie White will step her revenge plan up a gear as she bribes lawyer Rakesh Kotecha into making sure Andy Sugden is found guilty.

Chrissie (Louise Marwood) has framed Andy for shooting her dad Lawrence - a crime that was actually committed by her son Lachlan.

Having backed Rakesh into a corner, Chrissie bribes him by promising that she will buy the Mill development if he ensures Andy is convicted.

Lawrence is worried that the plan will fail but Chrissie reassures him, leaving him deeply troubled by his daughter's cold attitude as she continues to stir and machinate.

As the day of Andy's hearing arrives, a guilty Rakesh follows through on his deal with Chrissie and advises him that he should plead guilty. Andy is soon making his plea, but will Chrissie's plan work?

I expected better from Lawrence as he knows what it is like being an innocent person in prison and the Whites need to stop protecting Lachlan

The news just gets worse if you're a fan of Emmerdale's Coira - popular couple Cain and Moira Dingle.

Cain (Jeff Hordley) will be left devastated next week when Moira tells him that she wants a divorce, refusing to forgive him for a catalogue of terrible mistakes.

Last week, we revealed that the pair will soon hit the rocks as Cain refuses to accept Moira's secrecy over her drug addict daughter Holly.

While this may just seem like a squabble at first, things get even worse when Moira (Natalie J Robb) discovers that Cain has gone on the rebound by kissing his old flame Charity.

If that wasn't bad enough, the final straw comes when vengeful Cain tries to run Moira's former brother-in-law James off the road, partly blaming him for the tensions between them.

Although he's well and truly out in the cold with Moira next week after so much drama, Cain still rejects Charity when she makes a second attempt to seduce him.

Cain hopes that he can somehow make things work with his wife, but it seems that Moira has no intention whatsoever of reuniting with him - especially when she asks Holly to take his clothes over so that she doesn't have to see him herself.

Feeling guilty for her role in what happened, Holly hatches a cunning plan to reunite Cain and Moira but is crushed when it fails.

The next day, Cain tells Moira that he wants to go somewhere and talk, but she simply responds by insisting that she wants a divorce to make their split official.

Is it really curtains for Coira?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Friday, August 12 at 7pm on ITV.
