Hollyoaks brings back Goldie McQueen next week, just as life is getting very complicated for her teenage son Prince.

Goldie hasn't been seen in the show since July as actress Chelsee Healey has been on maternity leave, but she'll pop up again on Friday, February 2.

In the build-up to Goldie's reappearance next week, her son Prince is still being manipulated by Peri Lomax (Ruby O'Donnell).

After mistakenly thinking she was pregnant with Prince's baby earlier this month, Peri has kept up the pretence for the sake of staying in a relationship with him.

Peri grows increasingly desperate to maintain her deception next week, even after her interfering mum Leela sets it up so that she catches Prince spending time with his ex Lily Drinkwell.

Peri fakes stomach pain as she's keen to get all of the attention back on her, but she accidentally causes more trouble for herself when Prince then demands that she has a scan.

Needing to stay in control, Peri uses one of her old ultrasound photos to fool Prince with – and he's delighted when she shows him the fake picture.

However, when feisty Goldie makes a shock return, what will she make of the 'news' that Prince has supposedly got Peri pregnant?

When Goldie was last seen in the village, she was on the run after taking the blame for a robbery at the Lovedays' flat.

It's thought that Goldie's upcoming return will be just for a few episodes, ahead of her full-time comeback later this year.

Chelsee gave birth to baby girl Coco – her first child – in July last year.

Hollyoaks airs Goldie's return on Friday, February 2 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
