Home and Away (UK) Spoilers 27th June - 1st July 2016

Monday

It's the day of the funerals and Summer Bay prepares to say goodbye to Hannah and Oscar. Zac tries to keep his family together, doing his best to be stoic - especially for Evelyn. All Andy can do is watch, with his guilt eating him up.

Evelyn remains strong during the service, including Zac's heartfelt eulogy. However, when it comes to the end and she tries to place a rose on Hannah and Oscar's coffins, she finally breaks down. Josh cradles her as she cries.

After the service, Greg offers Alf his condolences but Alf is more interested in whether he's spoken to Tank. Greg hasn't and Alf alerts him to Tank's involvement. Greg can't believe it's true, but Tank is unwilling to reveal Andy's culpability and takes the entire blame himself.

Later, a fired-up Zac questions Kat about why she hasn't arrested Tank, but she is unable to discuss the investigation. Frustrated, Zac takes the matter into his own hands and heads to the hospital to confront Tank. He demands to know why he did it - especially after Zac stood up for him. Tank doesn't have any answers. As Zac is dragged away by Greg, he warns Tank that he'll pay for what he's done.

Meanwhile, Billie tells Phoebe that she was attacked, but swears her to secrecy.

Elsewhere, Evelyn seizes the moment and tells Josh that she wants to marry him.


Tuesday

Evelyn and Josh try their best to go ahead and get married in secret, but Leah and Zac discover their plan. As Josh and Evelyn begin taking their vows, it looks as if their plan will be successful and that they'll be Summer Bay's newest married couple. However, at the last moment, Leah and Zac burst in and plead with them to listen to reason. If they marry now, their wedding day will be forever tainted with the grief gripping them.

Evelyn and Josh look to each other, knowing it's true. As Evelyn and Josh arrive home, we get a glimpse into the pain that Evelyn has been fighting so valiantly to hold back. In a private moment, Evelyn tearfully confesses her agony at losing her chance to have her brother walk her down the aisle. Josh reassures that no matter what, he will always be with her.

Meanwhile, as Tank is arrested and charged for the death and destruction of the charity ball, Greg pleads with his son to tell Kat the truth. Tank stubbornly sticks to taking sole responsibility.

Later, Andy's guilt spikes as Greg pleads with him that he can't lose his son. Greg insists that if Andy knows something, he has to tell the police. Andy faces his moment of truth and heads to the station, confessing to Kat that he caused the explosion.

Elsewhere, VJ's efforts to woo Billie seem to be working as they share a kiss after enjoying a day of surfing together, but she is still haunted by her assault.


Wednesday

Andy is charged with two counts of manslaughter and released on bail after confessing to the police. Kat assures Andy that he did the right thing in coming forward, but his confession does nothing to ease his guilt.

Soon afterwards, Andy returns home and decides that he wants people to know the truth about what he's done. Despite Ash's attempts to stop him, he pushes out the door. Chris is on patrol when he sees Andy approaching. Andy is the last person he wants to speak to and he tries to escape, but Andy begs Chris to hear him out. He painfully admits to Chris he caused the explosion. The accident was his fault and he killed Hannah.

As the difficult day continues, Kat informs Leah, Alf and Roo of Andy's involvement in the accident. Worried about how Evelyn and Zac will react, the trio make a pact to keep Andy's involvement from them until they've had time to heal.

Leah approaches Andy at the beach to tell him what they've decided when Chris walks straight up and punches Andy. Andy stands there, not even trying to defend himself, as the punches and verbal abuse keep coming. When John rushes over, he and Leah manage to pull Chris back. Andy is left on the ground alone with a cut lip. Looking ashamed, he clearly thinks he got what he deserved.

Meanwhile, Phoebe and Dom finally get together, only for Phoebe to discover that Dom has another lady in his life - he has a daughter.


Thursday

Nate visits Ricky in the hospital, but it's clear they're both avoiding any discussion surrounding her hysterectomy and the fact that she'll no longer be able to have children.

Soon afterwards, Ricky attends a counselling session with therapist Maria. Ricky admits that she and Nate aren't talking about their situation. She hates the fact that she'll never have that biological connection with Nate, especially knowing how much he wanted to have kids. She's scared he'll grow to resent her in years to come. Maria advises Ricky that it won't be easy, but communication is the key to overcoming their difficulties.

Later that night, Nate asks Ricky how the counselling session went. It seems like the perfect chance for Ricky to open up to him., but she just can't force herself to do it and the distance between these two grows wider.

Meanwhile, Maddy keeps pushing Matt away. Matt tries to tell her that even though their future will be different now, 'different' doesn't have to mean bad. However, Maddy won't be talked round, telling Matt to leave and not come back. Seeing how upset she is, a crushed Matt has no choice but to leave.

Elsewhere, Phoebe struggles to win over Dom's daughter Bella. She starts to wonder if getting involved with a man with a kid was a bad idea.


Friday

Alf is strolling home when he comes across a gloomy Matt on the beach. Matt tells him that Maddy dumped him. Although Alf is sure that Maddy will change her mind, Matt disagrees. Later, when Alf sees Roo at Summer Bay House, he relays his conversation with Matt. Spurred on to make them see sense, Roo visits Maddy in the hospital. Despite all of Roo's best efforts, Maddy remains firm and believes she is doing Matt a favour by cutting him free.

Undeterred, Roo goes to see Matt and gives him some tough love - if he wants to keep the woman of his dreams, he needs to fight for her. Inspired, Matt goes to see Maddy. He tells her that despite her injury, he's not giving up on them and that facing obstacles together will make them even stronger, not tear them apart.

Maddy breaks down and Matt is convinced that she is finally listening to him. But later, when Matt returns to visit Maddy with Roo, they're dismayed to see her room empty. It seems Maddy has run away.

Meanwhile, Tori suggests that Nate should see a counsellor to help him cope with what's happened to Ricky, Nate coldly tells her to mind her own business. Things become even more tense between the two doctors when they discover they're both applying for the upcoming position of Head of the Emergency Department. However, their differences take a back seat when an emergency presents itself in the form of a woman in premature labour.

Later, Alf buys Tori a coffee and finds out that she has brothers who may be moving into town, but she doesn't seem to want to talk about it and Al is left wondering what the story is.

Elsewhere, John tells Chris that perhaps the best way to get through his grief would be by making Hannah's death meaningful. Chris is initially resistant and orders John out of his house. But to John's relief, he soon warms to the idea, deciding to propose to the hospital that they name the emergency ward in Hannah's honour.
