Meanwhile, Hollyoaks headteacher Sally St Claire could be about to find herself in huge trouble as Myra McQueen has a very suspicious accident.

It's already been a very tough few weeks for Myra (Nicole Barber-Lane), who's not on speaking terms with her son John Paul as he refuses to forgive her for lying to him about his father for all his life.

Although John Paul has forgiven Sally (Annie Wallace) for hiding her true identity from him, he stays stubborn in upcoming episodes as he refuses to show the same leniency towards Myra.

Still on good terms with Sally, John Paul (James Sutton) panics later this month when he realises that he's missed Father's Day and decides to do something to make it up to her.

Just as John Paul enlists his boyfriend Scott Drinkwell to help him do something nice for Sally, the tension continues elsewhere as Sally and Myra argue angrily at the school.

Myra ends up tumbling down the stairs amid the nasty clash - and John Paul is stunned when she suddenly lands at his feet. But did Myra fall or was she pushed by Sally?

The aftermath sees John Paul take Sally's side as the rest of the McQueens anxiously wait for news on Myra's condition - even recruiting James Nightingale for some legal advice after Sally is arrested.

John Paul offers to pay James for his trouble, but true to form, James wants something other than the schoolteacher's money.

James later warns John Paul that Sally could be facing prison if they can't find someone to back up her story. Is Sally heading to jail?

Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Tuesday, June 21 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.

Monday

John Paul pales when he realises that he has missed Father's Day, so Scott promises to help him make it up to Sally.

Later, Sally and Myra argue at the school. Myra ends up tumbling down the stairs and landing at John Paul's feet, but did she fall or was she pushed?

Meanwhile, Nancy and Darren are still determined to stop Maxine dating Adam in case she tells him about Patrick. They later suggest that Maxine should take a holiday.

Elsewhere, the Nightingales rally round Alfie as he prepares to hear what the next steps are in his treatment. Later, he decides to break up with Jade.

Also today, fed up with being Marnie's minions, Diane and Tony try to put their stamp on Nightingale's. Diane tells Marnie to be more compassionate towards her and Tony, or she'll reveal all about her and Freddie.


Tuesday

The McQueens wait by Myra's bedside. Mercedes is determined to find out the truth about what happened, while John Paul takes Sally's side.

Later, Sally is arrested. John Paul asks James for legal advice and offers to pay him, but James wants something other than John Paul's money…

Meanwhile, Jade wants answers about why Alfie dumped her. Tom is then floored when Jade asks him out.

Elsewhere, Tony is suspicious about what power Diane has over Marnie.


Wednesday

James warns John Paul that there's a chance Sally could go to prison unless they find a witness to back up her story.

Later, Celine reveals that Myra needs an operation on her lower back.

Meanwhile, Peri finds out about Tom and Jade. She is heartbroken and tells Tom that she still loves him. Later, Peri vandalises Jade's locker in a rage but is caught by John Paul.

Elsewhere, Marnie is reaching the end of her tether with Diane and Tony, who continue to take advantage.


Thursday

Reenie returns to an empty McQueen house. Mercedes and Celine are delighted to see Reenie when they get home, but Cleo keeps her distance.

Meanwhile, Scott is on Cloud 9 after his first time sleeping with John Paul.

Elsewhere, Alfie frantically tries to clean the graffiti off Jade's locker in school and Tom can tell that Jade still likes him.

Also today, Marnie urges Freddie to talk to Diane, but Diane just steps up her game against Marnie. Diane and Tony are delighted when they take over Nightingale's for the evening with a Japanese night.


Friday

Cleo is asked to go to the police station to be prepped for Pete's trial.

Later, Celine tells Reenie that she tried to kill Pete. A furious Reenie then decides to deal with Pete in her own way. Reenie meets Pete for a drink and tries to trick him into a confession.

Meanwhile, Diane and Tony are stunned when they get a call about a job in France. Mr Sheffield arrives at Tony's flat to interview them.


Elsewhere, Nathan goes on a date with Holly, but the moment is ruined when he gets a call from Rachel's parents about her gravestone. He prepares to tell them about Rachel's affair.
