Does someone else work at the Launderette? Linda said she would see Sharon on her break, so presumably there must be someone else there or she would have to close it.

Thursday episode, there's a room at the Police Station with cameras to monitor everything but it won't be regarded as suspicious that all the cameras have been turned away....
I can kinda see Ian's point to Sharon regarding Phil, since it seems to be the bigger piece of scum you are in Walford the better you get on. Though if he trusts Suki he really is stupid.
On that note though, you have to laugh at Tina going on as though the Vic was a family heirloom. The Carters have been some of the shorter owners in the shows history. Not to mention the outrage about Ian being crooked, practically NO ONE in that show is above reproach. The Mitchells, the Slaters, Suki, Max, the Cottons, etc. They're practically all guilty of something.

Why do all phone calls began with, "Whoa whoa, slow down...."

Sharon would be gutted that Beale hasn't left her everything in his will

Well that would answer Ian's question why Sharon stuck up for Phil. He always seems to be walking around with wads of money in brown envelopes (Phil that is). How a decrepit garage is doing this I don't know.
Also, really I have no sympathy for Kat even trusting Phil to hold up his end.

Doesn't Halfwit have any Sergeants or an Inspector that tell him to go out on to the streets and do his job ?

So currently the following (at least) have all broken the law and not yet faced any sort of justice: Phil, Ben, Shirley, Sharon, Kat, Kush, Stacey, Halfwit, Ian, Suki, Sonia, Gray and Vinny.
It's good to know that Eastenders is setting such a moral tone in these difficult times......
