Yes, she needs to have a licence to be able to sell alcohol. She has to apply for the licence and go on a course to be able to qualify for the licence.
And that is apart from all the conveyancing of the premises and the business, which would normally take several weeks.
All this would also have applied of course to Phil just swanning in and buying the pub.
Phil's face was priceless, but again we are back to the "This is Phil Mitchell we're talking about", "We don't want to make an enemy of Phil" and all that nonsense.
I was happy to hear Callum saying it would be nice if Phil didn't just always get his way.
I can sympathise with Billy with the way Mitch is constantly needling him, but at the same time it's what he wants, to trigger a response.
The Mitch/Billy fight was embarrassing. The episode was not great but the ending was brilliant. Sadly we have to wait until the earliest late Summer more likely early Autumn.
