I wonder what would happen if the scriptwriters were told they mustn't use any of the following plot devices.

    1. No more burnt dinners
    2. No more running out of milk and having to go out to the shop
    3. No more just happening to overhear a conversation they weren't supposed to hear.
    4. No more seeing something by chance and getting the wrong end of the stick
    5. No more traffic hold-ups when driving somewhere in a hurry
    6. No more returning characters with a secret
    7. No more surprise pregnancies after just one....er...you know

Would it mean the end of soaps as we know them?

As for TEd, think considering he is the only visible resident on the Square aged over 50 (no sign of Dot, Patrick, Cora) it's a mystery why, when considering the older age population in the UK is increasing, (not according to Walford!!)
is he going to be the new busybody, watching people and getting the wrong end of the stick in the Square
Older people are lonely and just looking for some purpose, bring on the new eccentric aulder fella!

Beside me there is an older chap who stops and loves to gossip, he has kept me well informed on the neighbours!

However Walford is a borough in the Eastend and surrounding boroughs would perhaps come to "The Prince Albert."

I thought there was a very good mix of characters, a good ensemble piece. Poor Stuart. I thought Rainie Tanya Franks was superb. An expression from her says a thousand words. Quality.

Maybe The Prince Albert could be renamed The Queen

I am on Stuart's side, Martin blaming anyone but himself and Sonia, they are the parents pushing Bex to Oxford and Max leading the charge with a pitchfork why now showing an interest in Bex?

Karen and Kim were great, love those characters

Ben and Callum, where did that come from?

    Denny better hide from Karen

It was great to see Stuart smack Martin. He so deserved it. Martin has no redeeming features now days, there is only two people to blame over Bex and that is Florence Sonia Nightingale and Martin Bonehead Fowler. Kush should be grateful Martin has broken up their bromance. the friendship is all one sided. Kush is better out of that one, especially when he is going for joint custody of Arfur.
